Excellent stuff Kevin, keep up the posts. One slight peeve...@3:24 a good carpenter never lays his wood-plane on the blade when not in use...place it on its side :-) Rather than MDF, what about hot-wire cutting high density foam and then sheeting and glassing to generate a plug? You can compensate for the sheeting and glass thickness with a thinner foil and the kerf. Not as "solid" but has worked for me for decades.

I have got a build log on RC groups on this build www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2135796 I have used a hard from before but never got a good result.had a lot of trouble with it de lamenting of the fome. Kev
