Hello from a fellow Brit. Just found your channel and binge watched the Tucano series, very informative. Looking through your back catalogue and was amused to find a random video on how to make rice pudding……🤣🤣🤣. Keep up the good work….👍🏻

Quick question: do you let it completely harden between every layer of cloth you put on or are you waiting till the resin is tacky and then continue with the next layer?
@britcharming
@britcharming 26 күн бұрын
I only wait for the tool coat to be partially tacky. Once I get the first layer on over the tool coat you just keep going until done. No waiting at all

@@britcharming Thank you; that is awesome. I learned a lot from your videos, even if it fails 🙂 For other videos you will make, it would be helpful to show the materials and tools you will use. Especially if there is a brand preference based on bad or great experience. Just my two cents on trying to understand the details.

Very nice Ace....yeah 6 to 7 hours to make a half of a mold is no joke. Your hands and back are so done when you finish. A lot of work.

Enjoying the Tucano series. Looking forward to finding out how the other side of the wing is done, especially the position of the parting planes to ensure the thickness of the wing is correct. Also how you match up the mating detents with the silicon door stoppers.

Do you have to worry about an amine blush when laminating? I have non-blushing hardener but would rather use the standard hardener. Great series with multiple applications! I'm actually making a mold for a Greenland kayak paddle.

@@britcharming I couldn't find any aluminum except for abrasive aluminum oxide. I'm pretty sure we don't want that! But I did find powdered stainless steel, so went for that. You can't believe how helpful your channel has been. Thanks for the efforts!!
