Played this song last year for band at state for Oregon, and we got 3rd place, this year were playing red rock mountain, also by Rossano Galante, and we hope to get 1st place

OH MY GOSH i played red rock mountain 2 years ago (and got 1st yeeeee), and played afterlife last year! obviously my band loved the red rock and decided to play another one from him :D

I played this my freshmen year (Last year) 2023-24, and I honestly wish I could play it again. It is such a beautiful piece. I enjoyed every moment even though I wasn't as good of an alto Sax player that I am today Edit: I also remember the two Juniors on 1st Alto Saxaphone playing the beautiful soli part at measure 69 with the flute solo 😢 Such a beautiful part of the song

I never played this song with a group but I found it on smart music and I played first alto saxophone and I loved my part when ever I played the 32nd notes I felt like I was gonna die but they are easy because they are like at sixty-seven beats per minute I think

Gibsoad Studios I agree! he’s definitely become one of my favorite composers after playing this piece. I would recommend listening to some of his other stuff, another favorite of mine is called the falls. definitely would recommend
