About the Director(s):
Daniel is an Irish-speaking writer and director from the Donegal Gaeltacht who has won multiple awards for his films in both Irish and English including the Lumi Award at last year’s Belfast Film Festival and ‘Best New Director’ at the Kinsale Shark Awards 2019 for his music videos for Irish language rappers KNEECAP.
Most recently he was nominated ‘Best Director’ at the Richard Harris International FF for the supernatural drama Afterlife and was winner the Comórtas Físín Irish-language pitching competition with his upcoming short film Bean Feasa. He was selected for this year’s Screen Talent Europe Pitching Forum in association with the Galway Film Centre.

When it comes to Vampire stories I look for new angles and this delivered quite well. I loved the scene with the boy slurping blood through a straw. It was a cool angle knowing that repetitive sounds are going to be an issue with his son never growing older. Kudos to any actor that can act in a coffin Great work to all involved. Peace.

I was going to say that he can't even ever kill his son when it becomes unbearable. Then I remembered stakes and silver bullets. Still, that wouldn't be such a pleasant thing to do. Anyway yeah, good short.

I'm typically not interested in vampire centered horror shorts, it's almost always the same stuff over and over, like the person slowly discovering they are a vampire, but this one had a different spin. I genuinely enjoyed this! It was a new take that I haven't seen done and it was extremely well directed and filmed! screamfest has yet to disappoint!

Great Film! 👏 I always thought being a Vampire is like being an Addict. Will do whatever it takes to get your fix hurting everyone around you. When the drug hits your sensors you feel remorse for those you hurt falling into a depression, so you do more drugs. Either pushing People away or they join you. Never ending cycle of hurt.
