I'm claiming that the man we're walking on the path behind, later in the video is Bayek, no longer needing his weapons or shield because he's now past ever needing those things again. He's been out strolling and visiting friends or family, is dressed very comfortably, and is now returning home to where Khemu is waiting for him, after playing today with other children who also died young. The man looks like Bayek did in the beginning when younger, and his voice sounds the same, only he's speaking fully in Egyptian. Of course, you can't see his face, but the voice and body build is like his before he got so muscled up from fighting.... And the voice, though he's only saying a few words here and there, sounds like when Bayek was very upbeat and happy. So I'm saying it's him, now in the beautiful afterlife, and forever happy and at peace, with no need to ever take up arms again, or be separated from his beloved son. 😉

10/10 would visit Only cons- You have to die or get involved in a complex plot involving artifacts from an ancient civilization, And there are huge f*cking scorpions like everywhere. Kinda puts the dampener in the whole “beautiful afterlife”

tbh, the scorpions dont mind anyone who belongs to Aaru, theyre its guardians and protectors, and ppl living in the afterlifes revere them as their protectors, bayekshouldnt bethere yet, so hes an intrusion,thats why theyre after him, but if u pay attention, what i just said is even written somewhere in the game and also, the npcs seamlessly walk past the scorpions without any of them paying attention to the other ones, PS: theyre freaking huge and leggy PPS: but if u look at them as peacful guardians of the realm, they dont seem so frightening anymore :)
