At the end of it, That's the "Great Kung Lao", he is the ancestor of the current Kung Lao, Liu Kang and Kung Jin. If you don't know the reference, the Great Kung Lao polishing the mini jade statue is a sign for the next generation of his descendants, a reference back to MKX where Raiden gives the mini jade statue to Kung Jin as a memory of his ancestor the Great Kung Lao. I feel like Liu Kang as a Fire God went back in time and train his ancestor the Great Kung Lao to become his champion, possibly he will not be killed by Goro(in the original timeline, the Great Kung Lao was defeated and killed by Goro.)

I'm about halfway done and I'm loving it so far. Is MK fans really need to start a movement to get HBO to fund a Game of Thrones style series. Each season represents a Tournament/ game, with the first half of the season being character episodes, and the last half being the tournament.

Yea I've certainly thought they could do a series on HBO or maybe Starz along the lines of Spartacus. That was bloody and gory as anything else, people died terrible ways in that too. Plus they were actually able to make a good story with great characters so it wasn't just dumb spectacle. Important to explore MK lore!

Aftermath is great!!! 💕💕💕💕 but tbh I’m just not a fan of sindel’s personality and her treatment towards Kitana in this game. Yes in mk 9 she killed a lot of the characters but she was mind controlled at the time by Shang tsung & Quan chi. Also In this game she kills Kitana’s father without regrets. In older mk games she was not like that. She cared a lot for Edenia, her people, her daughter and her husband. She was a heroic in Edenia. ❤️❤️😔😔 I mean just look at her Mk deception ending, she saved Kitana from being controlled and Sindel had tears coming out when she is hugging Kitana. 💓🌸👩‍👧

You know what I don’t get? The whereabouts of Revenant Smoke and Revenant Stryker. Kronika enlisted Liu Kang, Kitana, Kung Lao, Jade, and Kabal to aid in the hourglasses defense. Because of their absence, Liu Kang ensured the protection of Shinnok’s Bone Temple through appointing Sindel and Nightwolf as guards. So what was the role of Smoke and Stryker during the events of Kronika’s temporal anomaly?
