Thanks for the tour Mr D, That grate should not have been open... Did someone remove the original steel grate? Since FL is basically flat as a pancake, I noticed most housing additions have a 'pond' which is where the developers get the dirt to build up the house pads. Shoulders of roadways are dug down to elevate the roads. But, when flooding rains hit, it's all underwater! Are there any instances of gators wandering into peoples' flooded yards?

@@johnw65 you’re welcome, I haven’t heard of any during a flood even, but they will wander up to your front door once in a while. We have a large pond right behind our house. Normally it’s dry but the water came all the way to the top during Milton.

@@DaleMrDSimmons Report the missing grate in that drain. City needs to fix it. I had a 4 ft gator rushed me near a long bar ditch puddle in south GA. I swung my jacket in circles over my head and it ran from me
