Ken FireFlame actually Texas could very much end up seceding from the US. One of the reasons Texas joined us was because back then, there was no way Texas could survive as an independent nation. Also don’t forget that in the American Civil War, only mere decades after the Mexican American war, Texas tried to secede as part of the CSA. I also think that there might have been some Supreme Court case involving Texas and secession. I might by lying about that though. Perhaps Texas never actually tries to secede again, but anything is possible, especially when it involves the future.

I don't think that Canada will not get involved past that. The reason is that [1] NATO and UN is fucked., [2] Quebec might declare independence, as they were inspired by 14 or so states that seceded from the US., [3] And if Quebec becomes independent, British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan might join the US, though it is unclear if they will side with the syndicalists or the nationalist.

in the current political situation right now, if a civil war were to happen, I am wondering if the Confederacy would reform, or the Republic of Texas would Reform and take former confederate states with it.
@Charles-4727 жыл бұрын
I doubt that the Confederacy would reform in totality. People just aren't racist anymore, so it would just be a collection of states. People get all worked up when someone mentions forming a confederacy because America has labeled that word racist even though it's just a confederation of states. I would love to see The Republic of Texas reborn :) (Texan Pride)
@The4cp6 жыл бұрын
Not the Confederate government of the civil war. Sure ther are a few White Supremacists left but you have to factor in there are Black Supremacists plus Latino Supremacists in this country. If a civil war erupted in the united States there would be about 10 factions at the beginning. From Antifa to all the ones I mentioned. But being honest it would end because the globalist EU and UN would wipe out anyone who wanted a free America as it is.

What about Texas, Louisiana, Hawaii and Pacific States? Didn't USA just take them back and return the sea access on Gulf of Mexico and Pacific Ocean after Civil War?
@thehydrogenattheendoftheun27034 жыл бұрын
I'm from Washington state. While we almost certainly would have merged with Oregon to form Cascadia (which would have it's capital in Olympia or Everett, maybe Spokane) we would NEVER join California. As a rule, if Cascadia appears, we are securing our borders, joining a defense pact to survive, then going (mostly) neutral the moment we can. I say mostly since it's basically guaranteed that we will try to get British Columbia. And once Washington state, Oregon, and British Columbia are all together in Cascadia, we are true neutral. I repeat, we would NEVER join California. We just don't like them very much. And if we were somehow coerced into joining with California, there is no way we'd let them dominate the flag like you see at the end.
@linkfromzelda10024 жыл бұрын
I think the three states care more about survival than realize the dreams of a rebel movement. Why fight when you can unite?
@thehydrogenattheendoftheun27034 жыл бұрын
@@linkfromzelda1002 Cascadia isn't the "dreams of a rebel movement ", and I'm not saying that we wouldn't cooperate with California, we just wouldn't join into a single nation. We just don't like California. We would almost certainly form a defense pact of some kind, but outside of that, we would NEVER join California. We just really don't like them. It'd be somewhat similar to trying to get an independent Desseret (Utah) to give up independence. It just wouldn't happen. The only scenario where Washington and Oregon join California is if they join separately. If Cascadia forms, it would NEVER join California after the fact. It's kinda like H2O. You can merge Hydrogen with all manner of things, and you can merge Oxygen with all manner of things, but once they're combined into H2O, good luck getting them to merge with something else.
@linkfromzelda10024 жыл бұрын
The Hydrogen at the End of the Universe So like, why don’t we just unite as a country that isn’t dominated by either of the three populations? That sounds fair to me. Call it the Pacific Union and the flag is 3 stars on an ocean blue background. That sounds fair for everyone.
@thehydrogenattheendoftheun27034 жыл бұрын
@@linkfromzelda1002 that could happen, but I doubt it would last longer than half of a decade. Inevitably, power and focus would shift into California, already a large place, or Washington and Oregon would "gang up" on California and focus would shift northward. If all three were closer in size, then something like that could last. But with how massive California is, there just isn't much chance of it being stable.
@linkfromzelda10024 жыл бұрын
The Hydrogen at the End of the Universe Well I’m sure we’d figure something out that’s fair for everyone. We’re democrat states so our governments are already more or less in kahoots. Additionally who’s to say that we’d follow the same state policy as the US? We could do our own thing where we just unite as one state. There’s also the fact that we literally block any access to the Pacific from the East, so someone might wanna get rid of us and it’d be better to fight together for such a conflict especially with the boost in population and resources California would give. We could probably become a regional supper power if the US lost several other states or collapsed.
