Yeah, come on EQD. Give the masses what we want. I have cash money waiting for this exact t-shirt.

Even better would be if they made an always recording looper like the old sixteen second delay Nels uses so we can all deem things loop worthy

Over lockdown Nels has inspired me to play more than anyone, his freedom to make sound but keep it musical is awe-inspiring. Plus he comes across as an all round good guy. I've been trying to talk myself out of getting the Afterneath, this video does not help my cause! Thanks EQD and Nels, stay safe

The Afterneath is a unique pedal,- you have to be willing to give up some semblance of control in favor of the spontaneous and random.I had the V2, and really felt an expression pedal would have added a lot of practical value, especially on a circuit that would benefit from shaping once initiated. It provides some " on the fly" response/ capability that I felt limited without. It can be used non Ambient, and prob is a perfect gateway pedal into the head space.EQD has slowly taken over my "wet" board, and the Plumes and original Dream Crusher are on the "dry".

Not sure what it is but I’ve yet to hear an Earthquaker reverb or delay that sounds warm. I own the Plumes which I love but I’ll be looking elsewhere for delays & reverbs... Strymon still sounds the most organic and warm/round/evolving to my ears.

I think it's partially because he has a super long decay length set on the reverb pedal. It sounds really natural and great with that guitar tone so it does sound like sustain
