@animalyze71203 жыл бұрын
Amazes but doesn't surprise me 2000's era people would totally go perverted first, the songs premise is done in a way that's clean lyrically and to younger kids the harmonies and melodies take over anything they might be singing about. I heard this at age 5 in 1976 the first time and it was an instant favorite, and to me the song was about fireworks which was fitting for the year of this release. Just because your mind goes to the gutter doesn't mean everyone else's does too, which is something most Parents even back then couldn't work out, to say nothing of the people today. Yikes). It's a bright airy tune that rings nostalgic and though the lyrics mean something different they weren't written to as perverted be as people make it out to be, it was done cleverly. Great job by the cast for doing a really good cover of this song.
