I find your videos even so much more relatable now with your homeschooling content 😊 My kids ALL still have designated quiet time, even my oldest who is 11. Not all of them are in their rooms, but they know that it’s time to read or do a quiet activity and NOT bother mom. We all just need it, especially since we’re together all day! ❤️

My twins are only 2.5 but we have started "dates" with them, and often it's as simple as taking just one of them to run errands (shopping with one is a breeze when you have three!) and getting them a cakepop at Starbucks while we're out, but with three girls the competition is real and those simple "dates" are asked for daily so I know they mean a lot!

We do day dates. At least once a month we each take one on a date and then the next time they switch going with mom or dad. We love this time with them. They will also ask us for alone time. One will either watch a show or something with dad or climb in bed with me a snuggle and watch something they pick. Other identical boys are 10 now. We have been doing this since about age 5. We all love that separate time together. Keep it up! We notice that when they really start acting up or fighting it’s because they need some alone time!

The other day during rest/quiet time, my 3.5 year old got the portable cot out of the cupboard, (Baby Bjorn), took it out of the zipper, put up the cot (!), put in the mattress, and got inside. When I went into his room at the end of quite time, he was sitting inside the cot (playing Lego 🤣): I wasn’t mad, haha! I was actually incredibly impressed hahaha.
