Not many people have the strength of character, the brains, and the resilience in the face of adversity to do what you have done. You’re a warrior. I don’t know if you needed this pep talk today or not, but if you do need it, I hope you see this! Take care and congratulations. You’re going to be absolutely phenomenal at fatherhood. 🤗💗✊🏽

Love hearing your stories, keep up the good work! It's amazing to see that you didn't lose your life by succumbing to the pressures of prison. I've never been to prison but I did a week in jail for a breach of probation and even in such a low security place, a lot of those people simply gave up on life, never to do anything with their freedom but throw it away as soon as they get it back.

Kiwani yeah most guys in prison don't fuck with handicapped people because the other inmates don't play that shit. They ain't gonna let someone beat on a handicap whose minding his own business. Now if the dudes a chomo or does something stupid it would be a different story. But on average they just mind their own business and the prison is handicap accessible so getting around isn't a problem. At least that's how all the prisons I was at were.

Andy Flores Not only that half of prisoners aren't even violent just people who messed up.
@kylevillagomez94757 жыл бұрын
Gardener Earth Guy Hahaha reminds me of shawshank redemption. What I meant by my statement is a large portion of inmates are convicted on non violent drug offenses like our friend on After Prison Show. Although a Larger portion is violent with charges like murder, rape, assault if we changed drug laws (aka. war on drugs) the prison population would drop significantly. Also repeat offenders would decrease due to no new inmates from that non violent population.

I've worked in Social Services for 23 years and as a After Hours Child Protection Worker for the last four, as well...and yes I am burning the candle at both ends working two stressful jobs but it's important. So many young people romanticize that crazy life and don't even see that there is another way. I see it all the time with both young and old and what you do is not only important....but long over do. Just wanted to say thanks and that I have much respect for you. It takes a brave man.

It usually is difficult for me to watch videos about prison life because my older brother was locked up many different times. He had been in Somers, Connecticut and Big Sandy among others. His last lockup was in Hagerstown, Maryland. I got a phone call from the Chaplain one day and he told me that my brother had hung himself. The stories you tell here give me some idea of what he was going through and why he decided to end his life. I think your videos help a lot of people to heal from the scars of prison. It's also given me a new found sympathy for extortion victims which provided me & others w/ commissary, stamps, laundry service, etc. At that time I was a compositely different person w/ littel to live for & while I did engage in some activities while down but as I've matured I've grown to be more remorseful for the consequences of my actions but then again at this time in DOC you were either guppy or a shark, it was essentially a gladiator school where guards were essentially as corrupt if not more, they even allowed fights to happen in order for those on pound to bet.

Memeingless Toad Shit man it's the best! You and all your besties hang out all day and play games and eat your favorite cake while they sing songs to you. No violence,drug use or anything bad goes on all day just for you. Even the C.O.'s sing happy birthday to you.Just ask Merle Haggard. He turned 21 in prison. Never mind , you can't. He's dead.

Love Your show brother, much LOVE & RESPECT for teaching these youngsters about jail/prison and to just go the POSITIVE path in life. (I've been getting arrested since 12 but locked up since 15 & I'm now 26) It's great to see you turn these terrible experiences into something positive and make at least some decent money at the some time and I'm sure you'll be getting Paid a lot more in the future. TAKE CARE STAY UP. -Mike D.

Hi Jay I was wondering if in a level one security prison is there rape. And what is the difference between the different levels of prisons.
@misskai81583 жыл бұрын
In the free world, for women anyways, there is always the daily possibility of rape. For men, seems like rape happens mainly in prisons.
