It's so not worth it. If you think you want to do something bad that will make you feel better in the moment just think how awful you will feel in prison. I guarantee it feels a Million times worse than how you feel when you get to the point of wanting to commit a crime. If it's a situation with money, revenge, whatever. Prison will make your emotions worse. You will be treated as a non human. There's noone that cares about you in there and whatever problems you have. Stay free

I spent nearly 7 years as a volunteer counselor in the state of Virginia prisons after college. I was completely blown away and educated by events inside the prison walls. What was so ironic was the level of integrity and wits of inmates toward each other. In the early 2000s I spent 4 years doing inmate payroll for 28 state prisons Correctional enterprise shops for the state of Virginia. The low wages paid to inmates were heartbreaking and depressing!!!!

Tay I love Darnell and his positive energy. But here is the thing with children, I know this because I have 3, 2 young adults and 1 teenager. And sometimes they don’t listen to mom’s and pop’s. But they may listen to someone who is living a positive life but went through a lot. Kids are funny like that. I remember being the same way. Now as an adult, I realize how smart my parents were. But when I was a teenager and young adult, I didn’t think they understood me. But what is wrong with a person who wants to make amends for something terrible they did in their life? Nobody is perfect, so do you want people to only judge you for the worst thing you did in life? Someone like Banky can help kids learn they can pick a different path. That they don’t have to go the path he went. Banky made some horrible choices, and he paid a steep price. But what if he got through to just 10 kids. And those 10 kids got through to 10 kids. And on and on... With Darnell, his story is about police abuse, racism, and tragedy. There is no reason that it should take that long to test DNA! I know of several cases where men are on death row. They have DNA that remains untested. And they will most likely be murdered by the state. And the DNA never tested. And the DA is fighting and blocking for the DNA to be tested. Now that is what is wrong with our society! And each of these men have set on death row for 20-30 years! I know of other men and women who have been in prison and I have read their cases and they are in prison on flimsy eye witness testimony and on some there is just weak circumstantial evidence. So if you want to harp on what’s wrong with society, try putting the work to help people get their cases heard instead of complaining on a KZbin channel...🤷🏼‍♀️

Break it down to the public my brother I did 13 years straight and I saw a lot that most people out here couldn’t understand. Some times the COs poke the bear and the quiet bears are the ones that will hurt the most.

If there is a sincere effort to keep kids out of the school to prison pipeline Gov need to hire relatable people/ex cons like Banky to talk to em.

Don't think you have to be the one telling youths about jail. Anyone who served anytime in jail can add there story. Just think, there are some people who never been in jail. But they happen to do something that put them in lockup for life or even over 10 years. Ain't that some shit. You never had a clue if you could survive it or go crazy.

Lol! And mess with their bottom line?! I wouldn’t hold your breath waiting for them to actually work towards decreasing the size of the prison population in the US. It’s far too lucrative. It’s big business now.
