Do you genuinely believe that anyone experiencing regular and even enhanced emotional capacity would be able to make a new family after something like that? Well, she still has some things she's "gotta process and work out," ya know. 🤮
@dustywoood7 ай бұрын
@@seanstipsky9473 Whilst what she did was indeed monstrous, it was still an undeveloped mind at the time, suggesting that she's still "processing" isn't entirely unrealistic, there definitely would be trauma involved from her own PTSD there / protective barrier she's installed for herself. You can shape someone's entire life based off their teenage years of experience, so this is the world that she's molded for herself - so yeah to me it's not an unreasonable response.

People are wayyyyy too trusting. She killed her entier family and yet people actually listen to a word she has to say as though it could be something that isn't a lie or manipulation. Americans are too into the whole under-dog / anti-hero trope. Probably something that losers love to eat up.

@@dustywoood Fortunately, that doesn't matter much regarding this case. Seems like all of a sudden, people started repeating that the brain isn't fully developed until you're 26 yo, as if they all read the same Newsweek article. I'm not denying that it may be true, however, if we're going to take that into consideration, then it needs to be done across the board. Otherwise, it's just a convenient excuse. If people under 26 can't be trusted to make sound decisions, then maybe we should change the age of legal adulthood to 26, or make it illegal to get married or have children under the age of 26.

As a father of 4 boys myself, I feel horrible sadness for Terry and the pain he's carried for so long. Listening to people judge him for the way he handled the years after the murders... until you've carried that man's crippling agony and loss, you have no place to dictate how someone should feel. You ARE a hero, sir. There's no way you could have anticipated that attack while your family slept. And the fact that you managed to put one foot in front of the other and find the strength to go on living is a testament to the heroism your wife and boys felt toward you. May the rest of your days be blessed with happiness. Xo

This disturbed me greatly, not only does she have the ability to detach herself from the atrocity of this crime, but has seemingly detached herself from the person responsible, "herself ", dissociative personality disorder? She should never be released, and her father will rot in that trailer trying to find excuses for why she did it. He knows she's responsible, he's clinging to all he has left, her and the last place he was before he lost his entire family. Perhaps he feels a degree of responsibility for not getting her some help prior, I don't know if even this would have made a difference given the girls unwillingness to reflect deeply.

@cttaylor-beck52387 ай бұрын
Who should she be begging forgiveness from?!! One...She believes she does nothing wrong. Second...There is no one...NO one...who can grant her such. Her sociopathic self believes in nothing and no one, but themselves, and what they think and do. She is the poster child/woman for the mental disorder. The father is in self preservation, so he can't end ALL his family by accepting his own daughter being the evil soul that she is, that SHE did this. So she doesn't NEED to ask forgiveness from him. She can't ask forgiveness from the dead. She doesn't need to ask forgiveness from the mothers, fathers, siblings of those she planned with. That would suggest she had power of the Devil, using coercion, by means of threats or physical attack. Those boys were evil themselves. They were not coerced. And she won't ask God for forgiveness, as nearly ALL sociopaths do not believe in a God. Who would she ask forgiveness from since she revels in her conduct, proved by her lack of culpability?! She fools no one but her self loving self! Sociopath, Psychopath, Narcissist...cold, calculating, vile.
