I absolutely LOVED the pilot episode of Titans! It’s SO good and I was hooked immediately. Its dark/grim tone being reminiscent of the DCEU is definitely a HUGE plus. I love the more brutal adaptation of Robin; it’s not only more believable that a regular (non-superpowered) human would have to be so brutal when fighting gangs of thugs but also understandable that he fights in this fashion due to Batman’s training. I also was mesmerized anytime Starfire was onscreen; she’s gonna be the breakout of the show and I’m eager to see her story slowly unfold throughout the season. And I love her look on the show so far; the hair is definitely working. As for Raven and Beast Boy- I like what we’ve seen so far yet need to see more to accurately assess my take on their characterizations. I cannot wait for the next episode! 🤗

Also i don't think the woman "Helping" Raven is trustworthy. Raven never told the woman her name was Rachel so how could she know unless she was working with the people looking for raven.

this show may have got bad in the later seasons but the casting is EXCELLENT (kori excluded) and it got me into dc proper so. o7 to titans. made me fall in love with every iteration of jason todd

From a mostly Marvel fan who loves superhero stuff but doesn't really know anything about this series beyond the fact that Robin was The Overrated Bat Emo's sidekick, this was quite fun overall. However that ONE line "Hey Grayson, you got that that thing for helping kids right?" is the funniest lineof script i can recall, yes 1 dimensional expository cop character, that's right, the one thing you know about this new detective is everyone sits around talking about how, unlike every other cop or person in the world he "likes helping kids". Sooo weird.

@Kingdrago101 My god. Are u stalking me? Her clothes clearly made sense for this interpretation of her. Im not sure you actually read comics but they often have different versions of characters. Whether or not they are the main canon of that current comic continuity (or no continuity if its just a standalone. Like elseworld stories) THIS is just one different version of the characters. Not everything is trying to be the one and only version of that thing. Especially in the world of comics and its adaptations.

Raven,a half-demon empath girl from another dimension who inspires Robin to form the Teen Titans.Starfire is a Tamaranian princess and former sex slave who later develops feelings for Robin.(She`s basically the straight comic book alien version of Xena).As for Batman,this takes place at the time in The Comics Dick Grayson left Batman because his methods were becoming too brutal and he worried that Bruce was influencing him in toxic ways so he becomes a detective in Bludhaven,leading to his eventual transition from Robin to Nightwing in the Judas Contract Arc.

I actually have a theory about this. The creators said that Starfire would have multiple costumes. Kory was undercover pretending to love Konstan. Maybe her outfit was suppose please him. And thus her wearing it. As she meets up with Dick and has time, she will get another costume. Wanting something better. But liking the purple.
