The reason I ask, (not wanting to cause any embarrassment here incase I am wrong) is that I find it extremely sad that a person feels the need to make comments intented to be sarcastic /tactless (trolling). If this is the case, whether you know an individual, or you have never even met, I suggest that you go for counselling. The myth about the painting and houses burning down in the 80s was actually that some houses that burnt down had that painting and it was the only thing not burnt. It apparently happened a few times, creating the myth that the painting was cursed. So once again Karl is almost right. It’s all bollocks of course 😂

14:33 According to an interview they did to Stephen not long ago, the story of the neighbour with the horse is one of the first stories Karl told Stephen and Ricky in their radio program, and that is when they realised Karl was a gold mine. Some time after that they decided to do the podcast. That's why Stephen says here that it is old news.

The story behind that crying boy picture, which I still don’t believe, was that after the houses were put out, the picture was supposedly the only item in there not affected by the fire. Poor Karl has such difficulty when it comes to retelling stories. He’s always leaving out the crucial details that could make the point he’s attempting to make even a possibility.

In the radio shows, Karl does a series where he calls experts and asks them if certain animals are important or can we get rid of them. The radio shows are hours upon hours of laughter! You'd love it but you could only really listen to it yourself rather than reacting to it. I listen to it around the house or when I'm out somewhere. It would be great to know what you think of it

To help you get a view of the way Ricky and Karl look at Steve, you should check out a scene from the UK Office where Steve plays a character called Nathan AKA 'The Oggmonster.' That scene will tell you what Karl thinks of Steve; he bascially could've plucked that image straight out of Karl's head. In fact, Ricky probably wrote that part with Steve in mind.

The things Karl brings up and drips quick, like.. "I'm surprised you're asking that though Steve" and "horse in the house". All comes from their previous stuff where they met on the XFM Radio show. There's about 4-5 seasons on KZbin (with extra bits) BUT I have never seen anyone take an interest in reacting to them. Maybe for copyright reasons ? Who knows.. Just look into it and if you end up not being able to react then just listen to them yourself and gain an understanding of their history. Thanks for the uploads, you guys are awesome 👊✌

On the XFM shows Karl had a segment called "do we need em" where he discussed and put forward points as to why he thought certain useless animals should be wiped from the Earth, jellyfish, slugs etc. He even started calling up experts on air. There's just so much more history and genuine emotion that happened before this animatied series that shines a light on how (even though Ricky and Steve tear into Karl) They did it with tough love and nothing but good intentions. They pushed him too far too fast sometimes but before he met them he seemed quite down and bummed out about the world. He was doing ok but was stuck and wanted for nothing more than he had. I'm not sure if people see it like i do because at the end of the day this is all entertainment. But I think the long term fans of these 3 guys have picked up on all this extra stuff along the way and love them for it. ✌

If you keep going with their content Karl talks about what it was like meeting Steve for the first time. You've seen Steve on Idiot Abroad, he's just a bit tall and gangly with a little bit of googly eye going on but Karl acts as if it's the elephant man. He's always found Steve weird to look at and said "ive gotten used to It and now you've improved a bit, you've got nice glasses, you've done your hair a bit... or maybe I've just gotten used to it" and Rickys loving it having stirred the pot
