Well actually, Williams soul is still within UCN but his actually mind/memories were uploaded to the VR from his suit So he is still technically suffering but at the same time, he isn't there

He thought if he went into the VR game with his past body he could glitch the game and get out, however he became a virus and Glitchtrap. That’s just a summary of it. Remember it’s my au, it doesn’t need to be canon
