Vlahovic, Isaak, Mudryk (i know), Sesko, Williams are all forwards we’ve tried to sign over the last 2 years. I don’t think the club are as naive when it comes to the strength of the squad as we believe, but they are far more patient when it comes to signing the ‘right’ big money forwards than the fanbase is in general. Having said that it would be negligent for them not to sign players in those positions given our current situation - there is also little room for error with these new additions because of fan pressure and expectation. Feels like the club has gotten themselves into a very tricky situation, Salahs don’t grow on trees and history tells us that high fee signings with high expectations, especially in forward areas, often flop. No, definitely not. But Liverpool haven't had their slump/challenging patch yet. It's still very possible that we could win the league. Remember, last two seasons we came very close but it was City at their best. This time City are BELOW us and Liverpool are in their 1st season with a new manager. All these reasons mean it's more than possible and reasonable and realistic for things to swing our way. We might as well focus on that. Ultimately, what will actually help the club more: 1) millions of fans worldwide believing and framing our situation positively; 2) millions complaining and writing us off? Remember, the energy on social media impacts the stadium atmosphere and ultimately impacts the players and their performance. We're collectively the 12th man. I've helped manage schools with plenty of underperforming kids; as a life coach I've helped transform lazy procrastinators into productive achievers. 2 years ago we played free flowing football in attack, no idea why arteta went away from this. Now when we win possession, artetas team wants to stay still and lets our opponents set up a block before trying to break them down and we slowly move the ball around the outside of the box, passing in an arch from one side to the other.
