Aful Performer 5 Review (Feat. SeeAudio Rinko, Truthear Hexa)

I noticed the same issues on my pair of Aful P5's until I gave them decent power, then I unstood why Gizaudio loved them so much. At least from my experience, they are very worthy, but only if they have enough power and a good source to run them off of. I used the Shio Dongle Dac from Truthear plugged in through the USB-C port on my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra

I ran them on high gain off my iBasso DX300 🙂

Why are using high gain? You don’t need high gain for these IEMs. They’re not hard to drive.

@@NormHamano I use all gains to test iems because it influences certain aspects of iems, I found it to particularly influence how the bass sounds. I was saying I used them on high gain since Andrew Nivar said that he enjoyed them once he "gave them decent power" to explain how I have tried them with high power as well. 🙂

It CAN beat $500 IEMs. Shutup! I have Hexa too and the Aful Performer 5 sounds nothing like it. Stop lying to people.

Which one among the timeless AE and ap5 would u prefer.i saved money for one iem only.can u help me decide which one to buy .would be really thankful.

Hello! I sadly have not tried the AE. Best in this price range imo is the quintet for detail, oxygen for tuning, or ivipq conch v12 for a very bright set with treble sparkle. I hope you enjoy whichever iem you choose! 🙂

Hook x is something I plan on getting soon. I'm not sure if I'll get a s12 but we will see what happens 🙂
