like how he named some of his songs after viruses and backdoor trojans, they always had some sort of mysterious allure to them. (similar to the appeal fairy tale antagonists and monsters give off) aphex twin basically glorified that appeal and created something that musically described (like a "theme song" of some sort) how they crawled ever so quietly around your temp. folder only to reappear out of the blue in another folder. Yeah, that was the premise. Richard didn't like the fact some people were sharing up the musics so he chose some infamous virus strain names for the bulk of his later Analord tracks, to put people into panic and making them think they're getting actual viruses instead of music.
