Modern old school warbirds is what they remind me of. The crop dusters I watched as a little boy on the farm are who got me interested in aviation. I never get tired of seeing a skilled pilot at work!! Thanks for sharing Mr. Johnsen!!

You are always welcome! Yes, the turbine agplanes and the SEAT firefighting air tankers that developed from them have an old-school feel about them. Impressive to watch good pilots in action.

This reminded me of watching the Cropdusters many years ago as a kid when the landed on the gravel road in front of the house to reload. Thanks for the memory.

Nice scenery, nice low lighting that allows us to see the spray pattern. It also show how dangerous this type of flying is and the skills of the pilot

Maru is going crazy if Dusty®️ overstresses his gearbox again! Going back to base and recovery may take a long time, perhaps he'll learn this time.

Probably to power a pump to pressurize the spray system.

This pilot is doing all the things my instructors told me never to attempt. He's getting away with it. Don Quixote would be pleased.

Riesgosa la profesión de piloto fumigador.
@brianbassett43793 ай бұрын
This profession can be done and is being done better by drones. They are faster and cheaper, provide better coverage and data documentation, and use multiple collectors to manage field watering requirements. There is no flight insurance, large aircraft hangers, airplane maintenance, or pilot error. I'm surprised people still pay double and triple to dust their fields. They won't be for much longer.
