Brilliant. Having got our eR7 this year, after 15 years without an Aga, I am trying to get back into this…with Hubby learning too. I may need more help!!!

What about hot water and running a network of radiators.

Hi Matthew, we no longer manufacture AGA models with heating and hot water functionality. We would recommend taking a look at our Rayburn models which do offer these functions > www.agaliving.com/buying/rayburn-buyers-guide

@@agacooking I assume with the distributed heat model instead of a large central store the hot water and radiators are off the table. The huge gain in control of the new aga and the high efficiency of the modern heating solutions make this problem a non issue. I prefer this new model as it gets rid of the problem of too much heat where you don’t need or want it.

If I was buying a 1meter wide cooker, which I miss having. These integral cookers don’t have a hand on ranges. Why would I choose an R7 over an eR7? I can understand the advantages of the eR3. I guess I would choose the eR7 over the R7 if I wanted to eliminate a conventional cooker. Will @aga eventually introduce app based controls or even a dual functioning simmering/warming oven in the future?

@@dave8484able Hi Dave, the main difference is that the AGA eR7 Series is designed to be switched on and off whereas an R7 Series is designed to remain on all of the time. There are also more temperature settings for the AGA eR7 Series which allows you to have more control when cooking. We would suggest visiting an AGA shop who will be able to go over our models for you in greater detail.
