Father Petrizzi is spot on! The hyper ethnocentric Greeks needed a theological reason to break with the Holy See. They couldn't depart from communion because "this man in Old Rome isn't even Greek and hasn't been in centuries "or "he doesn't listen to and obey the Emperor in Constantinople ", etc..Sadly the wacky Greeks infected the various Slavic peoples with their spirit of schism .

I was debating with Un Orthodox... 5 sister churches, 3 marriages allowed, and belief in Immaculate Conception, voluntary... This is an ark, or arks, of damnation
