This stew was delicious! My kids actually begged for more, I like that this recipe is so easy to put together on busy weeknights with all clean ingredients.

This recipe is definitely a keeper. I love the aroma it makes in the house. It’s just like a Thai dish you have at Thai restaurant. I used bone in thighs but next time I’ll use a meatier choice like split chicken or breast. This only took 15 minutes in stew mode with partially defrosted thighs. Thank you!

Relatively new to InstantPot. Is it Ok to do quick release when it is finished?
@laurenboylesahmel93696 жыл бұрын
Hi Danielle- I'm a huge fan of yours and a recent Instant Pot convert! In the beginning of the video you said this was initially a beef stew, what kind of beef did you use? Would you sear it first? Thanks!

If i am making this for a pot luck, can I just double the recipe in the IP? Same cooking times? Just take longer to come to pressure?

Could I make this with shrimp I’m currently out of chicken?
@taichiwellnessonline6 жыл бұрын
I’m going to try this in a Dutch oven and let it cook all afternoon. I’m hoping the chop and drop will work.. ..? Maybe I’ll give the chicken a head start with a quick fry before adding everything else. Wish me luck!

I don"t have a instant Pot .However, i have a slow cooker. How long can cook this meal in my slow cooker. The states that this recipe was original cooked in a slow cooker. However, doesn't provide info. Just as how long and what temperature. Will appreciate any feedback or info. thanks

The original recipe can be found in my Meals Made Simple cookbook. 8 hours on low!

Has anyone tried using the green curry paste?
@nancyc41397 жыл бұрын
The recipe says set the machine to Meat/Stew for 10 minutes, or 15 minutes if using frozen chicken but you set the machine to 30 and you weren't using frozen chicken. Which is the correct temp to set on the pressure cooker 10 or 30 for 3 pounds boneless chicken ?

Nancy Conklin I was just about to make this and now don’t know what time to use! Ahhhh
@Againstallgrain7 жыл бұрын
Sorry for the confusion Nancy! The chicken breasts that I used in the video were huge so I winged it and set it for 30 minutes. 10 minutes for 3 pounds of smaller thawed breasts will be sufficient. I'll make an edit to the recipe!

I eat fish sauce when I go to Thai restaurants all the time, but I just can't find a brand that doesn't make the dish inedible. I would be so afraid to add the fish sauce and then have it ruin the dish, because I've wasted food doing that before. Can anyone tell me a brand that doesn't taste gross? I think I bought the same brand as her chili paste.

I tried this using your recipe and it was too hot to eat! I can't believe a child could eat it. Next time I'll use only about a teaspoon of the red curry paste. Otherwise it would have been great. I had to put it down the garbage disposal. Boo,Hoo!
@Againstallgrain6 жыл бұрын
oh no! Sorry to hear that. Which brand of red curry paste did you use?
@mytwocents8486 жыл бұрын
It was Mae Ploy. Live and learn. LOL! I'll use a lot less next time. Otherwise it would have been delicious!

Hi Danielle, writting you from France here :) Which brand of red curry paste have you been using? Yours seems really great...I would not like to buy the wrong one and having to throw away that thai recipe down the garbage...Merci beaucoup ;) Love from Paris, XoXo Sebastian.

@@langeblanc494 danielle used thai kitchen brand, which is geared more towards non-thai people and isn't very spicy. may ploy is the real stuff. we can't say danielle didn't clearly warn about that!
