this song goes so well with the crow c.o.a.i until recently discovered the musical phenomenon that is agalloch, and have become one of the few (sadly) that can appreciate their music for what its really being interpreted for

One of the best things from Agalloch. Amazing band. Marvelous combination of acoustic guitar and effects... Strong drums but without any excesses. Wonderful bell... PS I like only the first one from Crows, but thx, it's not bad

I would have to counter with "avian inspired winter tree metal". Some of the best stuff of this genre to come out of America in a long time.

@ ANDYBOY:-The path of freedom is a magnificent sight to behold,no matter, the shade,an extravagence, maybe indulgent perhaps, but a transformation that is inevitable, even in the light of dusk, its a road of freedom,a time of dry analizes and inaguration of vital importance, dont you think,or is all that too far over your head, sorry dude.... :) ~Vlada~aka Rayvhenwing

climax/crescendo in the end of the bloodbirds II is the point. by my opinion, goodspeed are champions for these moment and agalloch throw them down from piedestal of it :)

I do agree that they are amazing, but they just aren't post rock. They do have a little post rock influence, but they most certainly are not a post rock band. you do seem to know some good PR bands, so i'm not sure why you think this is PR... It is clearly progressive, avent-garde, style of folk metal with tendencies of Black Metal, neofolk, and doom metal. With a hint of Post rock...;) (how many bands can you say that about???) ...they are amazing tho.
