Pro tip: if you make that hexagon pattern that you were doing at the start and cover any gaps with speed tiles, then every ant in that group can be upgraded to lvl 3

Another Pro tip, always put your food chambers at the entrance. It speeds speeds up progression so ants don't have to take food allllll the way into the nest and then go out again.

Fun fact: the mission that beaver is playing is in fact the same one as the termites. Except the roles have change now you play as the predator attacking the termites.

Been a bit since I played this one - Went to NG+ and forgot to get the rest of the achievements - but I love this one! I do enjoy Cold Blood and The Harvest more, but this one's still great! Couple tips: 1: I'd put the food squares closer to the entrance. Ant's can enter/leave sooner after bringing food and avoid the spiraling corridor early-on. This is especially useful for both the leafcutter and termite levels. 2: Medic ants only revive one ant for each tile. Once you've reached max revived units, they'll no longer pick up and heal unconscious ants.

I always put my food stores at the opening so the drop off of food is quicker. It also slows the ants so you can make a chamber off to the side of the entrance for food. Beaver should try to see how many game plus modes he can beat. I’m on 3+ and it’s so hard. Even easy is difficult.

Pro tip: If you spread your units around on the pheromone markers and move them along in different markers, they will respond and move along quicker (works most effectively to move your ants out of danger or to respond quickly to a big threat)

Great video. A few tips: clicking on the golden i symbols that appear on the right of the screen during the level gives useful information about relevant game mechanics. Also if you need more food for the final level, it is much more worthwhile to do the levels again on medium with challenge mode on because you get the first time bonus than doing the levels again on hard.

When playing as the Matabele it’s best to get lots of medics first at the starts of the levels because they are still soldiers and to get the main soldiers when you have a huge army so you can get loads of food to get loads of them😊
