Panthera is the perfect counter to rexy along with mostly everything it makes you feel truly helpless. I had to add 4 camouflage removing creatures and they can't even fight it normally on top of that boosts.

Rexy won’t get nerfed. It is an iconic and has connections to the franchises image. Ask yugioh players why magician souls didn’t get banned cause it has a relationship with an iconic image with the franchise. What they Ludia might do is buff certain creatures to make it easier to counter rexy but not completely

That's not really a good reason. Look at judgment day, it was archetype specific but it had the caveat of 'spell card' not 'spellbook' card so easily abused. Magician souls only benefits DM archetype, you cant slide it in a not related deck for value like you could judgment day in non-spellbook decks.

It's NOT like spellbook: judgment day where the caveat of 'spell' as opposed to 'spellbook' when referencing the cards used that turn for the effect, to where you can run it in a deck that's non archetype related and still get ridiculous value.
