Sharon had to get out the way so Rio can replace her, she's the real earth witch and she has healing powers! . And I don't think Agatha did the road by herself she has a reputation for turning on people I wouldn't be shocked if she did it with a coven then stole their powers.

Mrs Hart isn’t a witch (as of right now) the black heart was meant for Rio because if you rewatch the fight between Rio and Agatha in episode 1, Rio described herself as having a black heart that beats for Agatha.
