If u think about it lilia’s sigil really made a problen for two witches; wanda and alice. Wanda couldn’t sense billy because of the sigil and alice got fired from her job as a cop because she couldn’t hear his name or solve the case fully

This show is very color-coded. The leaves on the road are yellow. Yellow represents Lilia. The next trial is supposed to be Lilia's. Remember back in episode 2 when the witches sing, Agatha points to Lilia when they chant the word air. Lilia's trial is air elemental based. Regarding the whereabouts of Lilia and Jen now, remember when Sharon Davis said in episode 3, she is part of the Westview historical society. All she thought was under Westview was its failed underground transit system. There has to be a reason why the writers included that fact. Perhaps Lilia and Jen fell through the ground and into that subway system. We'll find out next episode. Did you notice Eddie's last response to Billy/William, he gave him a black heart. Lilia wrote a black heart as the fourth witch listed for the coven. Lilia couldn't sense Billy/William so she couldn't write his name instead she drew a black heart. It's most likely Rio was never supposed to be part of the coven, but Billy/William was. Rio is the interloper in the coven, like Sharon Davis, she's not supposed to be there. Next episode is supposed to be a big one according to the cast. Expect a lot of revelations. Lilia has been reciting tarot cards throughout the show when traumatic events are revealed but there are two, she hasn't yet. The Two of Cups and Death. I expect the latter will give a huge reveal to the audience and could be the last word spoken for a witch. Anyhow, I always look forward to your reactions. I love seeing how you piece together and theorize about a show. It's like reliving the show all over again through your eyes. Your channel is among my favorites. You're one of the few channels I rewatch to get your reactions. It always makes me feel like I'm watching a show fresh for the first time. Keep up the good work. Billy is the green witch on the list and the black heart that Lilia wrote down. They just confirmed it. Rio probably isn't even a witch at all. And she is after Billy as he is basically two dead boys in a body. I think it's pretty clear that Agatha is going to save him from Rio and take her place as an ally of his and the Scarlet Witch like she is in the comics. They will also probably finish the back story of her son, which will create sympathy for her. The TV shows are always about setting up a future film or films. The Scarlet Witch and Young Avengers being the films in question now.

Billy's existence in William's body is breaking the rules of not only magic, it's breaking the rules of DARK magic. We learned in Multiverse of Madness that, even using the Darkhold, possessing a dead body is forbidden.

That's an interesting point, but I'm not sure it applies in this case. Those were the rules around dreamwalking, which Billy isn't doing. He didn't temporarily project his mind, his body died and now he lives in a new one. It isn't really possession, I don't think.

So it looks like Billy is the black heart, remember Lillia only drew the heart because there was no name (as she would not know his name due to the sigil). I also do not think the other two witches are "dead" based on the trailers. My interpretation of the arrival of Billy into William's body was that he lost his memory but still has some sort of flashes from before because he doesn't twig to what happened until Ralph mentioned the kids and does not recognize him at all. With all that said because he spent about a week as Billy Maximoff but 3 years as William Kaplan he is more of a Kaplan who shows traits of people who have long term amnesia. So I feel like as much as they lost their son I think Billy is still the Kaplan's son (like he was adopted).

I totally agree with BIlly being the 🖤 on the list. Not only did the text from Eddie refer to him as his 🖤 but his left earring is literally a black heart earring and thus he has always been apart of the coven. That's why the curse attacked him in the trial and not rio, because rio isn't apart of the coven. I also have a similar interpretation, I actually think Billy doesn't have ANY memories of EITHER life. All he remembers is waking up in a car crash screaming the name "Tommy". He then spends his time trying to 'remember his old life' that the Kaplans would be telling him about and since he can hear their thoughts (which he didn't know he could do, thus he answers them out loud intitally) he decides to just go along with what they tell him and i would assume with the help of mind reading be able to 'fill in the gaps' in his memory so they stop worrying. He says to Eddie in the car that "nothing has felt right" but he doesn't know who he is until Ralph explains the "mind reading brother" and the name "Tommy" but they didn't showcase him getting his memories back, that just gives him an identity, like an ACTUAL amnesia patient. My theory is since the road gives the witch "what is missing" he will get his memories back at the end of the road and in his memories will be the location of the person that HE put Tommy's soul in to save him.

When looking in the crystal ball, Lilia saw Billy’s reflection. She even remarks how William is clearly a good egg, while we can all see Billy looks like an more unruly, goth teen. She put the sigil on William, imo, to protect him from Billy, knowing a sigil would hide him from all witches. She couldn’t have ever guessed Billy would eventually inhabit William and therefore the sigil would then only hide him from other magic users.

@@jondavwal13 she didn’t know how long though, she couldn’t have. she told William to ‘appreciate the now’ specifically because she knew his time was ending, but had no time frame. We saw what she could see in the crystal ball, and it was simply Billy. No other imagery. Why else would she have given the sigil if not to protect William, a child she knew was a good person, from a clearly darker entity she could see but had no familiarity with? She didn’t know Billy at all, or even of his existence, since she wasn’t in the anomaly with them all. and the crystal ball showed her only Billy’s reflection. Which was the yin to William’s yang. Also, the tower reversed, the card she mentions in that scene, has meaning of denying growth and personal change. Lilia herself was acting as that tower card reversed, to prevent the tragedy of Williams death and the change it would force upon him. Although she sadly failed at that task and only hid him from other witches instead.

This is a really well done show, with a lot of fun quirky nods to other witchy stuff, and I'm absolutely loving it. I think people need to get over themselves and just enjoy stuff for what it is.... I think Lilia just saw William dying in a car accident in the near future and placed the sigil on him just so she didn't have to carry around the guilt of knowing a teenager is about to die. She even told him to embrace the now while he still can.

If you remember earlier in the episode his boyfriend texted him "🖤" . In episode 2, Lilia drew the "🖤" because of the "sigil" she place on him. I thought it was Rio, and so did Agatha that's why she ate the paper. However, it clear that Billy Maximoff is the "Green Witch" on this road. So that means that Billy's trial is next.

The thought I've been trying to figure out is why Wanda could never find or sense Tommy. I figured it was Billy since episode 2. The sigil clarified it. My only assumption is that Tommy never found a body to possess, so Mephisto or Rio/Death claimed his soul. But their are many different stories of him from the comics, its hard to tell

Important to note that the last line of the chant is “follow me MY FRIEND to glory at the end”. Agatha and Billy need to wind up bonded for them to succeed. Agatha may have survived the road before but maybe that’s about it.

When Agatha says Billy "broke the rules" she's referring to M.O.M. "possessing a dead body is forbidden" Those were the souls of the damned that told Strange that. Agatha had the book of the damned for centuries. So she would definitely know. The real question is; why didn't they attack Billy? I theorize that they fear him and his future. He's gonna be Sorcerer Supreme one day. They've already been controlled by a powerful sorcerer. And he's Wanda's son. And they saw how easily she repelled them in M.O.M. Technically Billy being in the Kaplan boy's body might also make him an enemy of Rio(Lady Death)

I don't know if anyone else has called it but Billy broke the rules of death. That's what Agatha means by "Breaking the rules". It was mentioned in Multiverse of Madness by the ink like demons that Strange used to fight Wanda at wundegore. They told Doctor Strange that occupying a dead body is forbidden and not to spoil it but there is an entity in the Marvel comics that goes by Death and she takes the bodies of those who die and my guess is she doesn't really likes witches because they're able to survive for years withouth dying oh.. and ghosts...

Next trial will be Lilia's (the yellow leaves is a clue). Hopefully some explanations will be given? Most reactors seem to forget the death of young William in their excitement at seeing Billy calling for his brother. You are both lovely souls because you didn't just gloss over it. My hope is that William is in one of the really NICE MCU afterlifes. Maybe Valhalla? (just think of all the Hemsworth and Hiddleston lookalikes for him to meet!) Poor Billy though. Three years knowing that you're not really who you're supposed to be, but not able to remember anything (from either past). He's always thought he must be William Kaplan who died and came back "different". Not knowing how he can read minds now and wondering why you always feel an empty space in your soul or why the word "Tommy" makes you ache inside. No wonder he went Emo.

The deleted scene for this episode probably would have explained a little about Alice and her not being able to keep a job. When she is trying to take a statement from Jeff Kaplan, William's father, every time Jeff says his son's name the sigil keeps Alice from hearing it. That probably led her bosses at the department to think she isn't adequate in doing her job. Also, my speculation is the Billy origin story isn't over. There is a reason why William Kaplan is not referenced as Billy, even though that is a nickname. There could be an integration between BILLY Maximoff & William KAPLAN, which leads to Billy Kaplan. I think when Greg the dog meets up with Billy Kaplan, he'll be far nicer and the Kaplans will get their son back.

I thought about the fact that she is the clairvoyant who has already seen it all through yet acts like she doesn't know what's up. Also how cagey they have been about her character as opposed to the rest.

It's been said that even the witch who cast the sigil wouldn't know or remember she'd done it, and after Lilia dropped the sigil in William's pocket, she looked as though she couldn't recall _what_ she'd just done, and the very next thing she said was "some kid left this in my tent" when she tried to give his jacket to an employee. The employee asked if she knew who it was, and Lilia said no.

Re: Where's Rio? I think Alice knows... But even in the flashback, I definitely think she was there. Perhaps in a different form, with a very different motive than Billy. Perhaps requiring "Detective" Agatha. In episode 1, Rio delivers the case of the deceased Doe "case" to Agatha. It's the very first scene we see her in. We also know from neighbors, Agatha's 'true crime phase' was new. A car crash is mentioned. There's also the name that appears on the sheet of paper in one scene re: the body, just as Agatha is breaking out of the spell: W. Maximoff. Most viewers assume it's Wanda -- but what if it's William? All we see of the body in Agatha's 'detective scene' are the legs and hood. All of this is to say, I think Rio's there in some form, as Death, and is using Agatha to try to uncrack the mystery of what she was owed but couldn't get -- what the sigil is blocking Rio from seeing/hearing. An event that happened nearby, which I'm sure Rio suspects wasn't a coincidence. IMO, that's going to be the central conflict of this series, if Rio is Death. Without the sigil to protect Billy from Rio, Agatha is going to be faced with her son's situation all over again. Rio trying to drag a son of sorts to the underworld. The Salem Coven are going to be the small fries in this. Anyway, that's what I think.

I think Agatha is a mutant, just like Wanda, and I think Agatha's mutant power is a mix of Rogue's and Jean Grey's Phoenix Force. Rogue's power allows her to absorb the life force of those she comes into physical contact with, and that's what's happening with Agatha albeit a magical contact. The Phoenix Force and Jean have a symbiotic relationship; it has a life of its own. I think Agatha's power does too. What stopped Agatha from absorbing Alice's life force? The voice of her dead son--she was emotionally rocked. Emotions and mutant powers are tied at the hip! The last few minutes of this episode were full of emotion, and it affected Billy's ability to channel his power. 19:03 Eddy. I want to know if Eddy is Teddy or Theodore. Sure, it is possible to have significant others with different and similar-sounding names, but would the MCU do that on purpose? Billy opened up and shared his secret with Eddy...does Eddy have a secret that he's going to share with Billy? WandaVision ended with two special reveals, and I think one of those reveals is connected to Billy's Boyf;) EDIT: 20:44 Newspapers? Her neighbors were trying to be good neighbors helping her out. They knew she was weird, but they likely thought she was still recovering from Wanda's spell and did what they could to help her get by.

One thing on the boyf...Eddie is rumored to be the MCU version of Teddy aka Hulkling. Not an actual hulk, Hulking is a Skrull from the Young Avengers, as well as Billy's love interest. He used the black heart in the text to Billy. When Lillia got the coven list, the black heart on there was Billy. It replaced his name because of his sigil. So neither (Mrs Hart/Sharon) nor (Rio/Death) were the black heart. It's Billy's placeholder symbol from his boyfriend.

I am still confused I thought Wanda’s kids didn’t exist in this universe and they were only here because of Wanda’s Hex
