In pretty sure the reason we were able to hear him say his names this time around was because we were hearing it from his point of view. Remember he didn't realize that the sigil was hiding his identity because on the road when they all ask him who he is, he's surprised to find out that he has a sigil on him Also I do think him saying the spell is what broke Agatha free from the curse cause Lilia says in episode 4 that practical magic takes time for its effects to work

ohhh I forgot about the practical magic bit that was definitely setting this up! also kind of plays into the idea Mrs.hart was actually a green witch who was practicing analog magic, because obviously plants take time to grow. and i agree, we’re seeing it from the perspective of ~not a witch~ cause we were seeing it from the witches’ perspective before, that’s why we saw the sigil but it only works on witches…also to have the moment of him finally fully accepting his identity as billy maximoff

Exactly. We heard the names because Billy would be able to hear himself speak. Though… that is a little confusing because Billy is also a witch. So wouldn’t it be impossible for him to hear himself say his name, or does the sigil not work on the person the sigil is intended to protect?

In the part where we see Billy Kaplan/Maximoff's first encounter with Agatha from his point of view, the reason we can hear him say his name is NOT because the Sigil is broken. It's because the scene is from his point of view.

It would make sense for them to pursue a Childrens Crusade storyline with the Young Avengers we already have assembled with Kamala Kahn, Kate Bishop and others. I wonder if Boyf’s Eddy is actually Teddy AKA Hulkling. Also, the road is yellow now, so we’ll be doing Lilia’s trial next! I’m eager to see how they pulled out of the mud as well.

Totally curious to learn how Jen and Lilia get out of the mud or where they went! I definitely had the same thoughts that Eddie might be Teddy...? Or Billy definitely has a type and we'll meet Teddy at some other point..

Episode 2 is from Agatha's POV while episode 6 is from Billy's. Billy doesn't know the sigil hides his identity. He can hear it just fine. Also note that it hides both William Kaplan and Billy Maximoff. Rio not being seen might be scheduling issues. Plaza was working on something else at the time and they had to work with that. Or if she wasn't there physically I think she was projecting herself into Agatha's delusion to try and snap her out of it. She's definitely there when she attacks Agatha.

My favorite episode so far! (It broke my heart to dethrone episode 4 though!) Joe was brilliant in this one, super proud of him. You can see the difference between the optimistic innocence in William vs the confused yet determined nature of Billy. I felt heartbroken for everyone involved, poor William and his parents looked like good people that loved one another dearly. It's also great that Billy is still figuring out his powers. We all know he has a lot under his belt, but him still not being able to control it gives him so much room for growth from now on! Agatha is a character that I still can't figure out, and I love it. She's mean, sarcastic, manipulative and untrustworthy. However, there are moments of such sincerity (like the tears in her eyes as she greets Billy again, the way she refuses to let him put himself down because of his own powers, and just her apparent lack of control over her own powers and the way she keeps hurting people without meaning to) that I question my perception of her again and again. The biggest mystery of this show, to me, is who Agatha Harkness really is. Thankfully we still have time to try and figure it out!

Well now that the sigils broken everyone knows who Billy really is and I’m pretty sure Agatha and Billy will have to work together because they both share a common enemy: Rio Vidal. Why? Because both of them have found a way to cheat death and she wants those bodies.

I don't get any indication that Rio is after Billy. Just Agatha. (and maybe the other witches as a bonus. I say this because Rio has shown that she knows EXACTLY who and what Billy is, but she hasn't made a move for him at all, not even when he was mortally wounded.

My favorite episode too! ❤ The reason we can hear his name in episode 6 is because it is from his perspective. He was never aware that they couldn’t hear him until Lilia mentioned the sigil. The sigil hides his name from other witches, not himself. I don’t think Rio was really at Agnes’ house until she breaks the door down. I do think Teen broke Agatha out of the spell, it just took a few hours. We are told that magic takes time and you have to wait several times even though we normally see it immediately. Wild idea. What if White Vision already found Tommy and we see both of them in the end?

I'm curious... why do you assume that Billy is only trying to find Tommy? Because Agatha dismissed the possibility of him wanting to find Wanda or Vision? Because Billy didn't explicitly refute her? I don't doubt he wants to get his brother back. But if I'm Billy and I go through the trials of the Witches' Road, I'm angling to get the entire family back together, not just my brother. So unless there's some rule that he only gets to bring one back, I think the idea that he has to pick one is a false choice.

billy doesn't believe wanda or vision are alive. he can only sense his brother, so that's the only one he's after for now.

Billy doesn't even have memories from his time inside the Hex, he confirmed his own identity through Ralph. Everyone says Wanda is dead and Vision is in pieces, and while both could be untrue (we know Vision was reassembled and is out there somewhere as White Vision trying to figure out who he is, but no one else knows this), for him that's it. He can only sense his brother and that's who he's going after. Maybe together they can get more perspective on what to do next, but for now his strongest family link is the safest option for Billy.

Based on how he doesn't know much from what happened Westview, I'm not sure he totally should. Although, Billy may subconsciously know Ralph because he was able to read his mind and Billy said at some point in the episode that he's only able to read the minds of people he cares about.

All the Roma in comics are played by people with almost no connection to Roma lol. Like no even by a mile but all the black characters are played by black people.. Being jewish or roma isnt just about dress up honestly, there are some familial cultural things that come with that. Its just shows the priority to cultural diversity in casting.. but it is what it is.. You cant force these things.. people must want more authentic representation rather than just 'fan' casting

You didn't like seeing what happened to Ralph Bonher? I loved it. And I thought it was a great way for Billy ti get some of the information he needed because OF COURSE the guy who was most traumatized by the hex would be the only one willing to talk.

He was a great source of info though. It actually made Ralph useful as a character, which was not the case in Wandavision tbh. Without him, Billy wouldn't have figured out his identity or known about Agatha and her connection to the events that took place. He also wouldn't have known about the Witches' Road and figured out that this was a way for him to find Tommy. Not to mention the level of trauma he went through. It explains why he's the only one from Wandavision who didn't show up again on this show - Agatha took over his house and also he was too scared of her to try and take it back.

I'm sorry you didn't enjoy it. It felt nice to experience the dis/mcu take on the erratic skeptic trope kind of like the Big Lebowski's Walter, but tuned to be perfect for this particular story.
