this is exactly why web series need to be either RELEASE ALL AT ONCE or atleast an episode EVERY DAY. A week is way too much time and is also the reason many people kind of loose interest. Cause, You have to wait a whole week for like a 30 min. episode, which can be really be impatient. and if not and you wanna watch it all at once, then you need to wait like 2 months or more and by that time you already get all the spoilers, thus making it less fun ti watch and thus people then skip the show. Don't understand why the people at Disney, HBO, etc have not understood this yet. DARK is a very complex yet brilliant show on Netflix (100% recommend to watch), and if you have watched it, now imagine all episodes releasing over a period of 3 months with one episode per week. No one would be able to keep up with the characters, the stories, etc

Lilia being the one to put the sigil on him for 3 years goes to show why Wanda didn’t know that Billy was still alive. 😭 But the question is, why did she put the sigil on him?! Also, I don’t think y’all noticed as soon as she placed the sigil in the jacket pocket she instantly forgot who he was. ❗️Unanswered Questions❗️ Another thing, Billy’s soul went into Williams body after he died. You can hear William’s heart beat go away, then you hear Billy and Tommy telling eachother goodnight because in the Hex as Wanda closed it, it was night and they were going to bed. Billy THEN entered Williams Body when it closed and that’s why he didn’t remember who he was and was acting weird. Alice also said she used to be a cop when she got to the house before they went into the basement. "3 Years Later" (now) Billy is PHYSICALLY age 16, as he tells Agatha in Episode 2. Alice used to be a cop -- she mentioned that in Episode 2. Seeing all the convo happening around the “demographic” comments and I think this kinda gets to the heart of why it’s still difficult having queer focused stories. Like there wasn’t a moment where I felt like Coy (or anyone from this channel) was saying “queer stories just aren’t for me” but I definitely felt a chill run down my spine every time Coy mentions the “demographic” comment because it’s not too far from other things I’ve heard throughout my life. When me and my little brother watched the Legend of Korra series finale, there’s that moment that hints at a queer relationship and, I’m beaming with joy at FINALLY having some representation (we were so starved back then, still are but not as bad) but my brother is like “not for me” and even goes as far as to say it ruined his childhood. He may have been exaggerating for a bit but it still hinted at his own feelings about queerness. It completely deflated me in what was supposed to be a good moment. Not for a second do I think that’s what Coy meant but you can see where my emotional response stems from. Probably similar for a lot of queer people watching reactions to this show. There is this unfortunate issue where queer stories are not welcome among certain masculine-centric circles. I’ve seen it my entire life and have been in numerous instances where I’ve been forced to defend the validity of queer stories even existing. It gets exhausting. And I do find it interesting that talk about this show not being for certain “demographics” is a bit more heightened compared to other MCU or fan-related projects (not on this channel but just in general). I’ve seen reactors (male and presumably straight) turn the queer scenes between Hahn and Plaza into full-on fetishization by jokingly but also kinda seriously licking their lips at the screen. Meanwhile, these same people will lose their minds over two men kissing and being intimate with each other. They get tired of queer stuff pretty quickly when that happens for some reason. These are the tricky waters we all wade into when it comes to FINALLY having queer stories go mainstream in the biggest pop-culture fandom of our time. While the conversation can get difficult and messy at times, I implore Reel Rejects and anyone reading this to contemplate *who* the demographic for this show truly is. Sure, this is a story about queer people, for queer people, but it’s also for everyone! I want straight dudes who brag about their pickup trucks to watch the scene between Billy/Eddie being flirty with each other and just be happy for them! I want straight dudes to be invested in the growing tension between Hahn/Plaza to the point where they go “just kiss already!” but not whittle them down to just a steamy make-out session. All of this is to say we are in uncharted waters. Exciting waters! But still uncharted. Marvel seems to FINALLY be investing in queer characters/stories with Billy’s introduction, which means these convos are gonna have to happen. I’ve honestly waited years for these conversations to start. For fandoms that are typically male-focused to start undressing the issues around welcoming queer stories/people into the fold. We’ve spent so long trying to find representation that it can be a reminder of how we’ve been demeaned nearly our entire lives when someone mentions this show is for a different “demographic” than them. For me I relive that moment with my brother dismissing my joy at seeing a breadcrumb of representation. Imagine how much more heightened those emotions are once we have ACTUAL queer representation like here. It’s an extremely big deal that Marvel has an unapologetically-queer story here but I can already see how some groups are trying to dismiss this milestone. So please, for the Reel Rejects and people online, don’t be discouraged from engaging and I think Coy should ABSOLUTELY STAY in the reactions! These are important conversations to have and if everyone is able to approach these in good-faith then it’ll get easier to have these convos. But excluding people from them doesn’t help anyone. Queer people have been excluded from so much for so long, let’s not force out people who could be natural allies to prevent that from happening again. Also, who does the KZbin comments for Reel Rejects? Is it Greg? Is he BI?! Cause whoever does those comments mentioned that in another thread here but I do not recall this being known. Either way, bi-erasure shall not stand! We love some bi kings reacting to Jewish gay witches! That is beautifully queer! Looking forward to the next episode and whatever messy convo comes from it!

I love the channel and enjoy Coy in other things, but if he really doesn't like the show this much, I think it'd be best for the other two to continue and he bow out of watching. He doesn't have to watch it and waste his time or fans of the show's time. Making comments about not liking it nearly every episode is really bringing the experience down at this point. It's totally okay not to like it, but harping on it every video is a lot. I think a redirect on who participates in the Agatha reactions is needed. EDIT: Back after reading comments. While I don't think rude or snarky comments are helpful one bit, I wanted to try to give some context on why the dislike or "not my demographic" comments may hit nerves with people and make them comment out of emotion. This is Marvel's first ever queer focused story. It's a milestone. Queer people are used to being the reason why people 'disconnect' or don't like something simply because they exist. Saying 'not my demographic' once or twice & then moving on - whatever. Making it a common theme centering the reactions to this show while also giving the perception of making fun of it - this can feed into the narrative that only male, straight leads can have a successful show that deserves to be taken seriously. Are people allowed to not like something? Of course! It's the underlying tone and frequency that people are off put by. Honestly, at this point, it does feel a bit like unconscious bias because of the behavior shown over the course of the six episode reactions. (emphasis on feels like as I do not know Coy in any capacity and as someone who worked in the film industry for years, I understand editing can take context out) Does that make it okay to be mean and call people names? no of course not. At this point, 6 episodes in, I think it may be some's breaking point on speaking out about it. I certainly was for me. Again, love the channel. I don't usually comment on things, but wanted to share and be clear that I have good intentions of course.

The fact of the matter is that real surprises in the MCU will be few and far apart to the people who read the comics, or otherwise consume “spoilers” outside of what is shown on screen. Because we all know that if the MCU started making a a lot of major changes from the comics in order surprise, there would be masses of comic fans losing their shit (in a bad way) at all the deviations. True surprises are pretty much left to those who only watch the MCU, and don’t have outside information. Agnes being the villain in WandaVision and Teen being Wanda’s son were surprises to MCU only viewers.

The one thing I kept wondering throughout this reacition was how does Coy the Comic Guy not know Billy Kaplan's/Maximoff's backstory?
@markknoop54682 ай бұрын
The demographic comments and the “Really?” after that compliment for Joe Locke’s acting ar3 quite off-putting. And this is coming from someone who usually enjoys listening to Coy.

Reactions have been so off. There’s more effort to make stand up comedy jokes than to actually watch and react to the important details in the show. No wonder so much has been missed. I’ve watched some of your other reactions and you guys mentioned stuff that even I haven’t remembered because of how locked in you were. Kinda disappointed. I still appreciate your reactions though!

Sorry but nothing f’s up a reaction for me then reactors constantly taking the piss out of what they’re watching. I find these days I go elsewhere for a more adult take on things. Sorry

I don’t think the ginger one even likes the show, just seems like they’re covering Agatha for clicks. Plenty of better channels around that actually care about the content they’re making weekly recaps for. I’m done with this channel tbh.

@@mildhoof Yeah spent like 5 hours straight editing...dont give a shit about this. You do know that there's like 1/4 of the episode footage featured so....you know...there's like 3/4 we are just paying attention

Dude dont be sorry. I've seen you pop up on several reactions. You're a dickhead to all of us on so many vids. But keep giving us them sweet views we so crave

@@mildhoof John and I gave sooo much praise to this episode. This whole comment of "covering Agatha for clicks" Who in the hell makes youtube videos in hopes they dont get clicks? Should we only make videos for things we like and never for something we don't like? What's this precious bars of yours we must clear?

I turned off the channel when Coy said jokingly “not enough man stuff”. I’ve watched your reactions since Wandavision covering numerous shows. I think Coy is a good dude. He isn’t a fan. That’s cool. But watching someone neg something you love and throw out passive aggressive opinions is why I’m unsubbing from this channel and Coys. People can have their opinions. This is just why I personally am unsubbing and I want the folks at reel to just have an audience opinion.

Okey, so I've been reading the comments and I think there's a bit of miscommunication between parties here. I think what people don't like is NOT that Coy is not liking the show, I think what most of us don't like is the feeling that we get that you are not paying attention and missing a lot of key storytelling by making cheap jokes over it and then saying the reason you don't like the show is because it doesn't make sense. When it doesn't make sense if you miss the storytelling. Like if a show sucks because it sucks, no one is gonna be mad about you not liking it, but if a show is good but you miss important parts and then blame that you don't like it on the show not being for you when it's simply the fact that you are not paying attention, then there's a difference. I feel like you came into the show wanting a Marvel show and only talking about references and cameos, instead of wanting to enjoy the show as its own thing, and that creates expectations and the disconnect that Coy was talking about. And Greg comparing it to Wandavision in the first couple of episodes, like the format pf the trial and stuff, when they are doing their own thing. Like if you're trying to connect everything to something else when its not connecting you're gonna miss what the show is actually communicating. All of that said, to the people who comment, some of you should just relax a little bit, you can give your opinion but don't forget they are people too and they deserve respect, if you start attacking people are not gonna be open to listening to you. We all just wanna watch a silly little show and enjoy it❤❤❤
