A huge hint we all missed was Agatha bringing Sharon with them, she KNEW Sharon wasn't a witch and didn't know the song but she clearly hoped that might incite the other witches anger even more. If Agatha had believed in the road and the story she would have made sure she had a green witch. She was totally unconcerned from the beginning.
@raykampf415117 күн бұрын
I believe Mrs. Hart was actually Rio in disguise. Here's my reasoning: 1 Rio popped up about where Sharon was buried 2 Teen even yelled “is that Mrs heart?” 3 When she shows up, she says “she was in the neighborhood” - like she lived next door 4 later Rio remarks about Agatha’s shrinking coven and name checks Lillia and Alice as dead- but not Mrs. Hart Also the name Sharon. It means “fertile ground” and when we first meet her she’s gardening - just like a Green Witch would be. Also if she was really Rio - Agatha may have known that and used this information - especially with Billy. At the end in Ghost form, when Billy says he killed Sharon, Alice and Lillia - Agatha says she killed Alice, and Lillia sacrificed herself - leaving Billy to believe that he was responsible for Mrs. Hart being dead. Agatha may have manufactured the guilt Billy is feeling. She says "you saved Jen" - but the subtext was "you still let Mrs. Hart die".

Alice’s curse was literally perched on her shoulders ever since she got the curse. Which is why she asks others if they also feel lighter when her trial started… that’s when the curse flew off, circling the room before perching on another member of the coven. Notice how each one slouches when the curse lands. Reminds me of the horror film Shutter. It choses to land only on women, pushing Billy away instead. Though, I do not know why.

Another detail, I'm not sure if it's covered already: In Alice's trial, they were figuring out what Lorna wanted from her ballad. Rio was the one who answered: "To save her daughter." One thing that everyone seems to be missing is the very ingenious way the Agatha and Nicky story borrowed elements from Hawthorne's "The Scarlet Letter". In an inverted and clever way. Hester wore the letter, branding her as evil, she she went from community to community doing good deeds, showing her true goodness. Where, with Agatha, it was inverted into being the opposite. Pearl was her 'devil's child' who questioned her, and acted as her conscience by doing so. There's an evil witch in the story who tells Hester she must walk the path in the woods so she can put her name in the devils' book, so that 'Pearl will know her father'. And Hester and Pearl are there for each other, a family unto themselves. In the story, it basically begins when her community condemns her and brands her as evil, similar to what happens in Agatha. Check out the comparisons, it's awesome.

Great video! One thing though, that I've commented about before (on the previous Easter Egg video I think): The Witches' Road is NOT an illusion or dream. Just like Wanda _physically changed_ Westview each time she moved to a new sitcom era, Billy _physically created_ the Witches' Road underneath Westview. Everything he created was REAL. The magic was real, the Trials were real, the personal insights and growth were real, the relationship bonds that were created were real. If you look back at Wandavision, Agatha was amazed that Wanda had created "magic on autopilot". Billy did the same...once he created it, it was semi-autonomous. While it did react to him specifically, I think there's evidence that it autonomously reacted to *every* witch in the coven. For the show to say "it was all an illusion/dream" would have severely undermined the point and themes of the show. It would be like the MCU saying "Tony's not dead, j/k"--trivializing Tony's sacrifice in Endgame. Billy went back to Agatha's house, and _the Road was still there_ . If it had been an illusion or dream that wouldn't be the case. Sharon Davis, Alice, and Lilia *were still dead*--again, would not be the case if it had all been illusion/dream. Yes there are LOTs of references to the Wizard of Oz, but in the end the show actually _subverts the trope_ . For all the info and insights you provide in your videos, the fact that you haven't seen this is disappointing. Not that you care what I think or anything, but it would be great if you at least thought about my points.

I'm shocked that no one, absolutely no one saw this: In episode 1 Agatha, still as Agnes, tells Rio that she has a "theory" that links a "car accident" that happened in Eastview where there was blood in the back seat and possibly TWO criminals sitting in the front seats... And that this accident would be linked to the BODY she saw at the beginning of the series(!) BUT although she sees a connection between the two cases, she feels like she's seeing it wrong... um... We skip to episode 6. William and his parents leave his Bar mitzvah party by car... from Eastview. They are there when, at the moment of HEX's collapse, the car leaves the road and crashes. William suffers a concussion and dies.... becoming Billy's vessel!!! How could Agatha know about this accident - and connect it to Wanda (in this case, the corpse she saw in episode 1) - if she didn't have an ongoing mystical connection? This suggests to me that this sudden curiosity in "True crimes" (as pointed out by the neighbor Herb in episode 01) was something induced, if not consciously by someone, by her own unconscious, causing her to be attracted to everything that had a connection with Wanda, the prison spell in order to free herself from it. Could SOMEONE (cough-cough Mefisto cough-cough) that we haven't seen yet be behind Agatha's awakening? The timming for Will/Billy to go after Agatha - after 3 years of the accident AND in de exactly momente she suddenly changes from a nosy neighbor to a detective, "SOLVING" a crime.... hum....
@brunofai446317 күн бұрын
The accident also is the pivotal moment that create the "abomination" to Rio's understanding. BUT if the creation of the Scarlet Witch is attached to a greater prophecy - of some sort of - to end the multiverse... and she is dead (Agatha "see the body" in episode 1, we'll, a reflection of what happened to Wanda), some might power could pull some strings to put the darkhold prophecy on track again... throughout Agatha and Billy (a carbon copy of his mother, with power, and will, to bring the dead new life... in a way. Maybe Wanda essence is lost in the multiverse, and Billy+Tommy might be the ones that shall bring her back...

Spoilers for Episode 8/For fans of Saw: I'm a huge Saw franchise fan and the room that Agatha, Jen, and Billy wake up in definitely reminded me of a Jigsaw trap (mostly the opening trap room from Jigsaw/Saw VIII, the clean, cold metal look). Also, when the morgue trays go back into the wall and Agatha starts talking to Jen about how calm she is, the background music seems to be mimicking Charlie Clouser's Saw score. In the Saw films, there's very commonly the same two note score that adds to the eerie doom vibe. It will usually play during tapes that Jigsaw plays for his victims. Also, it sounds like a slower version of F*** This S*** by Charlie Clouser from the original Saw. It could be a coincidence, but seeing as how the show also adopted the 'finding clues to solve riddles' and the fact that every Saw trap has a timer to it, like the trials, it was most likely intentional to emulate the music. In the same tone, all the tricky reveals are done in similar Saw fashion were at the end, all these previous scenes are played to remind you that you were being given the answers throughout the film. Also, we know Billy had a 10th anniversary Saw poster in his room. Lastly, and spoiler for Saw, I found it to be an interesting parallel that Rio, the 'villain', was with them the whole time. I think you put the pieces together on that poster. I've only ever seen the first (cousin ruined it less than five minutes in), and I knew that poster couldn't have been incidental. I just wasn't entire sure where the other parts of that easter egg were.

I think during Evanora's pregnancy, a divination witch in the coven touched her, had a glimse of the future where Agatha kills witches. Evanora wanted to kill her but had a change of heart until Agatha did forbidden witchcraft so they put her on trial? anyone has the same thought??

Did Agatha kill Alice's mom then? If it was all a con she couldn't have been lost on the road right?

@@MandaLewis "on the road" can also refer to when musicians are travelling and performing shows. Since she died in a hotel fire Alice's mom was likely on the road at that time.

Also did anyone notice that in the credits, the „Agatha All Along“ title card changed from showing an actual road in the background to showing Billy‘s room after the reveal in episode 8? It’s such a small thing but also so neat, that they changed that too xD

Every re-watch brings something new…in Ep 1, the crime tape between Agatha and Herb is really the wall between their front yards. “Everything all right, Agatha? You don’t look like yourself.”

I wonder if the Rio/Death theme being inspired by 'O Death' is a reference to the introduction of Julien Richings portrayal of Death that plays that song for an epic scene.

“Teen threw you into the mud telepathically” has always bugged me since you move physical objects with telekinesis. But if the road is an illusion, then he *did* use telepathy. This also means they are probably just sauntering around his room IRL, going from painting to record player to poster to action figure

I thought of something that could be an easter egg hint towards mutants. Alice's mother (while unrelated to mutants and Wanda) is named Lorna, and in the comics, Magneto has a daughter named Lorna who inherits his mutant ability.

They did amazing with Agatha’s series! That being said, I really don’t understand how yall miss the bottom line and have all this sympathy for her. Agatha’s baby was never supposed to be born. She was miscarrying him at the tree. That’s why death came in the first place. Agatha was selfish and could’ve just created another baby since her child was made from “scratch”(magic). Agatha is NOT a good witch. Or atleast she wasn’t. She stole powers from every covenant she encountered. She killed them and her own mother. This was for her own personal gain. She had been doing that long before she was even pregnant. Her storyline in the series reflected this message. How did yall miss it?

I think another is the line "a coven of two" since the ballad is made up by Agatha and her son, it was originally about the two of them.

Rio left the obsidian rock on the road; the Salem 7 pick it up when they get there. Jenn's necklace breaks once she's unbound. When Agatha powered up, her nailpolish and other costume details (including witch form) were iridescent blue like Billy's. The gust of wind that blows agath back in the house is the same gust of wind that flew Billy back in the Fire trial. "When you fall asleep where do you go" is actually what happened to Billy when the Hex was dissolved. When Billy searched the web for Agatha Harkness nothing came up- when he re-searched with Evil Witch, websites that don't exist IRL came up and manufactured her backstory. We don't know if it was true that she was part of Titanic/Hindenburg/Jolene, or if he was just going off what Ralph said of him being an Ancient Witch who will mess your shit up.
