1:39 Agatha has actually always been an anti-hero in the comics, she only played the role of the villain in Wandavision because of the Darkhold, similar to how Wanda is also an anti-hero who played a villain in Multiverse of Madness for the same reason.

Straight up good guy isn't an anti-hero. She was only a bad guy in the show. And also she was a bad guy before she got the darkhold. It was a change from the comics to make her the villain in Wandavision.

Teen/Toto is played by Joe Locke who blew up worldwide in his first ever acting job in Heartstopper. The casters for Wandavision were looking for characters instead of singers specifically, but they coincidentally wound up with an ensemble cast who are all great singers. They sung the Ballad of the Witches’ Road themselves in episode 2 without anyone needing to be dubbed. Coincidentally Joe Locke came out of nowhere on the Isle of Mann, with a fantastic theatre singing voice. He played Tobias in Sweeney Todd on Broadway as his second ever acting job in between Heartstopper Season 3 and Agatha All Along. God his voice is great. As a theatre kid, he’s been starstruck getting to act with Patty LuPone in Agatha.

People are picking up on Wanda telling Agatha “If I need you, I know where to find you,” and then Agatha wakes up when Wanda’s body magically appears in Westview, crushed and covered in European dirt. People speculate she came to Agatha for help resurrecting herself after her supposed death in Doctor Strange.

I had managed my expectations for this before release but I really enjoyed these first two episodes. Kathryn Hahn is just so good and Patti LuPone is a that's legend, so I'm really lookong forward to where this goes. I hope they keep the differences between different types of witches distinct because I'm loving the various witchcraft aspects that seem to be celebrated so far

I would also argue that Wanda has presented more as a villain than most characters... (Mary says Marvel has never focused on a villain before). Loki is an antihero, but he's also responsible for presumably hundreds of deaths in NY. Moonknight has at least one murderous personality and Wanda kidnapped a town, blew up an embassy, and created an evil robot, and that's before she went crazy in Multiverse of Madness! Agatha by comparison, maybe killed a dog. What she did in Wandavision was basically witness Wanda's descent into villainy. She doesnt cause it. And the Darkhold corrupts everyone it touches, including Doctor Strange in the end...

I'm totally invested. It's a supernatural drama mystery and I am into that kind of thing and also it is performance driven and I enjoy that too. I know fandom seemed to take issue because it isn't a macho action based thing but, well? Target audiences and I actually want Disney to make more variety like this or Werewolf By Night. I can watch Avengers when I want that instead. I thought everything was otherwise very well done here with the exception that they laid on the clues a little thick. I also searched the story was based and I don't suggest doing so because it gives too much away. Especially do not Google that name given in the first episode if you weren't able to figure it out by the plot yet. The performances though overwhelmed that and made me enjoy it anyways. Particular point is the editing. It's REALLY good. I think it escaped most people's attention but I rewatched them and paused some scenes again. For clean stuff and I caught a few clues there too.

WandaVision was only in black & white until the end of episode 2 when the show was “colorized” by Wanda. There are two possible reasons they took off there shoes the first being the witches’ road could be considered sacred ground as I’ve seen instances where in such places wearing shoes is seen as improper. Another possible reason I saw mentioned in an Easter egg video about the episode is apparently in order to use earth magic or be connected to the earth witches are supposed to touch the ground with their bare feet.

You might have forgotten that there was a 5-year time Jump in Endgame from 2018 to 2023 meaning Wandavision took place in 2023 and so 3 years later Agatha All Along takes place most likely in 2026 or early 2027

I really enjoyed the first two episodes. I've seen speculation that the body is actually the Darkhold dead and taking the form of the last person who used it. That is why the toe ta gis a book mark which reveals W. Maximoff (last person to use it) and then A.Harkness (previous person to use the Dark Hold).
