Agatha Christie Audiobook "Pearl At End House" Read By Hugh Fraser Peril at End House: Agatha Christie's Masterpiece Unveiled "Peril at End House," a gripping mystery by Agatha Christie, introduces us to Hercule Poirot at the peak of his detective prowess. Published in 1932, this novel masterfully blends suspense and intrigue, set against the picturesque yet ominous backdrop of a Cornish seaside resort. Poirot, accompanied by his loyal friend Captain Hastings, faces one of his most perplexing cases: saving a young woman named Nick Buckley from an apparent series of murder attempts. The story unfolds with Nick narrowly escaping death multiple times-freak accidents that Poirot soon identifies as deliberate attempts on her life. From a tampered hat to a sabotaged car, Nick's life is in constant peril. Poirot’s brilliant mind untangles a web of deception, betrayal, and greed, culminating in a shocking revelation about the real villain lurking among Nick’s friends and acquaintances. Christie's signature plot twists shine in "Peril at End House," as does her exploration of human nature. Themes of trust, deception, and justice resonate throughout the narrative, keeping readers guessing until the final page. The book's popularity has cemented it as one of Christie’s most celebrated works, with adaptations in television, radio, and even video games. For fans of classic whodunits, "Peril at End House" remains a must-read, showcasing Christie’s unparalleled talent in crafting suspenseful tales. Hercule Poirot’s deductive skills, paired with the atmospheric tension of the setting, make this story a timeless masterpiece. The title is misspelled, the title is actually ‘Peril at End House’ - not ‘Pearl at End House’.😉

I think that "Pearl" in the title slide should be "Peril" instead. Hugh Fraser is the absolute best reader for Agatha Christie novels and short stories!

Maybe it's on purpose to throw the copyright enforcers off the scent. You can't be too careful when you're trying to make money off of someone else's property.

Would have been a great story to have listened to if there hadn't been so many ads every few mins. If u r planning to go to sleep listening to it, don't. U will be aggravated before the first 30 mins. have passed. Otherwise u will like the mystery.

I wonder how Poirot overlooked the fact that fKe Aussie abruptly stopped his wife from explaining her special connection to Nick. And why Agatha would put it that way when the Misso was supposed to be voever one. But, ah, what a wonderful inteigue! And such interesting female characters! Which are so sadly sparse in Mr. Doyle's stories. Thank you ever so much for these wonderful uploads!
