Hi Joanne & Steve. I really enjoyed watching this. I have been to Brixham and many other parts of Devon lots of times. I have never been there, maybe i should pay a visit one day. Thanks for sharing 🙂

It’s such a great place to visit and so much to see. I always remember the amount of walking sticks they had! Why? I remember the lovely walk down to the river and the not so lovely walk all the way back up! I think the view, if you had sat in one of those deckchairs outside the house in Agatha’s time, would have been better as all of those trees that block the view weren’t there then. We’re seriously thinking of moving to your part of the world as the sun is always shining no matter where you both go!😜

We always say the same, if the trees weren’t there or as tall the views would be spectacular, and as you said probably weren’t when Agatha was there. We do get good weather down here, haven’t seen snow in the six years we’ve lived here, the odd frosty morning but usually gone by 10am. We do get quite a bit of rain though, but usually a bit warmer down here

Hold on a minute, I thought I was on holiday in Florida?? Lovely house in a gorgeous position but I imagined it would have been more opulent, whilst it is very English it does appear rather sparse for someone famous. 🎉🎉

I think the family were quite ordinary and down to earth, one of our favourite NT places, worth a visit if you’re ever in the area

@@soditwereretired Sadly, a visit will not be possible, we retired to Germany some 15 years ago.

That sounds lovely, where to? Have you relatives there or just like the country?
@gwenmassey76312 ай бұрын
@@soditwereretired No, we do not have any relatives in Germany, our two daughters both live in Melbourne, Australia, but we have holidayed in Germany since the 1990’s and enjoyed the life style and standard of living so when we were both made redundant we up sticks and left England. We explored all over but finally settled in a tiny village 2,000 feet above sea level just outside the ski resort of Willingen.

Wow, that’s amazing, to just up sticks and go, we googled where you live it looks beautiful, bet you get lots of snow in ski season xxx
