Hello! Agatha Christie’s short story that I love is “How Does Your Garden Grow?” And Agatha Christie’s novel I read the first time is “And Then There Were None” :)

I've started re reading the marple short stories along with the audio cd's read by Joan Hickson which I am loving. So far I've got to the blue geranium which I think is fantastic as well. I also like the idol house of Astarte and the bloodstained pavement.

I have only read some Poirot short stories (from the collection, 'Poirot Investigates') but I really enjoyed them! I thought a lot of them were impressively polished, in comparison to say some of the Sherlock Holmes short stories that seemed to me quite forgettable. I look forward to reading Miss Marple short stories when I'm acquainted with her as a character. :) I didn't know about Christie's background in the war (only heard hints to it before), but that's so interesting! And makes a lot of sense.

Great video as always! Another thing I liked about reading Secret Adversary before Partners in Crime is I feel like then you really notice that development of their relationship and how they kind of play off each other. Partners in Crime is definitely my favorite Agatha Christie short story collection so far and I really need to pick up my own copy. With Miss Marple, I actually did start with the short story collection abd thought that was a great intro to her so great suggestion😀. With Poirot, I've really loved a lot of his that I have read so far but I haven't read them all yet because I am trying to read all of his stories/novels in order so I read the short stories in between the novels. This video makes me want to go back and re-read my Miss Marple Collection and listen to my audio of Poirot Investigates (read by David Suchet). Lately I've been listening to some of her standalones as well as some of her Parker Pyne short stories and I have been loving the ones with Parker Pyne. Her standalone shorts are much darker than her stories with one of her detectives which surprises and interests me but sometimes I find them too scary haha.
