I love that the crew appreciates and treats every spirit equally. It really opens people's eyes to more than just bourbon and scotch. I can't wait to see more tequila reviews, and especially when you guys get more into armagnac/cognac, other rums, etc. Hyped!

I love that you guys do many different spirits like Tequila, Rum, Scotch, Cognac, Irish Whiskey… It’s what sets you apart from other channels that only do one thing. ♥️ Also, I agree with Dillon in that with Tequila, I like Blanco and Extra Anjeo. Basically agave and what can a decent amount of time in a barrel add to it. 😃👍

This is crazy simply because I thought the opposite with my 2024 bottle! It’s peppery on the nose, tons of floral notes, agave toward the end and some fruit but the taste was almost like a very fruit forward with savory notes on the finish and a mineral undertone throughout VERY complex to my palette! But maybe that’s just me haha

Tequila reviews...rarely! Why didn't you do a drink through? Don Fulano is considered very premium, and definitely not laced with additives. If there's one knock, they use a column still. The Fuerte Blanco is amazing, highly recommended. G4 repo is my favorite, so, of course it's not better than G4.

Great review! I felt the same way. I tasted a little mint but maybe it was that metallic taste you guys picked up. Still a good clean drinking tequila.

My go to liquor store has stopped carrying the Fortaleza still strength; so bummed. They have the G4 line, so I'll give it a try even though I'm partial to Fortaleza.

Way way way too sweet of a repo. Haven’t tried their blanco yet. I think I’d like it better than the repo and anejo.. and agreed, mixing this in a cocktail would be incredible.

Don Fulano being described as simple honestly offends me. I think it’s complex. Not very many tequilas have this funky note to it (more pronounced in there blanco) and I love it

Its fosent mean John Doe. It translats to so and so, can also be used to call some one a nobody. Has nothing to do with the concept of a an john doe

Just tried this Don Fulano Repo for the first time… THIS TEQUILLA IS SUSPICIOUSLY SMOOTH… almost TOO smooth… I really love it, but I’ve tried all the other big hitters (Ocho, El Tesoro, Cascahuin, G4, ArteNom, Patron, etc) and NONE of them are nearly as smooth… This like drinking vanilla/oaky water 🔥 Dangerous… But it’s a little concerning because all the other big hitters have that classic ethanol burn on the throat, even if it’s minimal… This Don Fulano Repo is the first liquor in my life that doesn’t have a burn… I could drink this straight like water… *** This is a GREAT tequila for a beginner trying to get into the tequila world & doesn’t have experience drinking whiskey/burbon/rum *** I give it a 8/10… My current favorite was Ocho Repo, until today… It is now Don Fulano… 🔥🔥🔥

I have to agree with you 100%, smoothest tequila and I've had fortaleza etc. I was so blown away I bought 2 bottles of the añejo and let me tell you what a let down!. The repo by far is their bread and butter I would agree that this is a gold medal tequila.
