Honest Question... I have NEVER played OOT before lol, but I just started today, I am going to play it through and then play windwaker and then twilight princess. I am just curious, do ALL the normal N64 glitches for OOT, work on Dolphin Emulator? I am using Dolphin and The Legend of Zelda : Collectors Edition, which has OOT and MM on it, and the WW demo. Not Master quest though, just normal OOT. So yeah, do ALL of the normal N64 glitches and bugs happen and work on this version also AND on dolphin?

Stupid question, but is it a rule of thumb in the speedrun community that to actually speedrun a game, you have to play it on a console the game has actually been released on? I.E you can't play OoT using a pc emulator? And if so, is it because PC emulators allow for hidden cheats, glitches and so on, not available in the actual game?

***** Ok, that makes sense. Have had issues with emulators myself, some worse than others. A bug from DK64 comes to mind, where climbing up a tree would cause the game to somehow spazz out and place you back at the start of a level.
