Hey! thanks to you, I came to your tutorial after having tried the technique that EbSynth uses and not getting good results, Mocha Pro and After have been a much more professional solution. Now my question (I don't know if anyone has come across this limit) If the subject's head rotates more than about 20 degrees the facial features are deformed and obviously since it is not real 3D, the mesh stretches. What do you suggest for these cases? Maybe do more than one step per shot? That is, divide the movement so that there are several frames of reference? Thank you in advance for continuing to respond.

Hello and thanks a lot for this video! I've been trying to make this working for a few hours on a short video I took but I have a problem. When my head turn on the left or right, then the whole face looks quite weird, as if there were some kinds of "stairs" on both the left and right (especially on the top left-right part of the head). So, I was wondering if there is something else to do in order obtain something smoother when your turn your head on one side or the other rather than have the face looking at the camera the whole time. Is it even possible actually? :D Thanks a lot in advance!
@flo.motion4 жыл бұрын
Hey, the problem could be that the face is turning too much! Be aware: when you create the reference frame, you need to make sure to take a frame, where every detail that shows throughout the shot is already visible. For example if you turn your face from the side to the camera, it is better to take a reference pic from the end where both eyes and ears and so on are visible... so you need clever thinking when creating the reference frame
@rossshain18934 жыл бұрын
Did you track with perspective on? Mocha is clever but is still a 2.5D workflow, so for some rotation shots, the only method for solves is to move to a full 3D solution. If it is quality you are after, you can increase the warp render quality (under stabilize tab) to HIGH. Also, you can add more vertice points to subdivide the mesh for higher quality render AFTER tracking. Maybe useful? kzbin.info/www/bejne/gZqqYaCmYpt-Y6s

@@flo.motion My friend, thank you for your concern. At minute 7:35 of the tutorial, you add a precomposition (Mesh Track), made with a GRID (that's what I can hear). That's the part that I can't understand. Can you explain it as clearly as the tutorial? Thanks a million!

Bro I was doing rotoscoping and after some frames it gets really stuck and not moving a single frame. What might be the problem?

Hey! What do you mean by "rotoscoping"? Manually? WIth masks? With rotobrush? With mocha? And what exactly are you rotoscoping? Details? Shapes?

@flo.motion3 жыл бұрын
Hey! Roto brush is part of After Effects, so if you have after effects, you also have the roto brush tool!
