Ive been tuck on this mission for a while now I tried a similar method but I used petards instead of villagers.

Unfortunately this tactic doesn't work anymore in DE. Saladin immediately goes nuts on you, if you change the diplomatic stance to Damascus to hostile

Build houses, a siege factory in Yellow's fort, use mangonel's ground shot to break the wall without aggroing anyone, then build two castles (maybe siege) with your stone right next to blues gate and repeat the strategy seen in video
