Something else you can do with grouping is you can have multiple group numbers for the same unit. So in your example you could do melee group 1 archers group 2 and then entire army group 3 which makes it easy for moving them around the map. Also the group will match the speed of the slowest unit in the squad so sometimes you'll want to keep cavalry separate and watch out for sneaky monks slowing down your army group 😂

P.S. Historically Longbows slay knights. Their range and hit strength was enormous. Granted - good positioning helped bows or wet ground slowed horses. Nonetheless during Anglo-French conflict (100y war?) there were many instances of French not learning their lesson and lose more and more knights. Now take this: To be a knight you much be reasonably wealthy (horse, armor, sword and most importantly muscles, agility, horse riding, etc. training - to lift and swing a sword while on a horse). One might draft common men give them strength training, instructions how to shoot an arrow forward and not backward and they are operational. They wasn't snipers rather gave Area of Effect damage. Much more cost efficient, replaceable much faster, deadly. English at time abandoned the custom to give knights back for ransom, moved afterwards through the battlefield and literally knife/small sword kill off opponents. These days we like their stats if we use them and are gloom when fighting against. Back then they were respected and fear as well and for a good reason. But again - thanks Jumbo for all these hotkeys highlight. It's very useful indeed.

Hey Jumbo! Yup, hotkeys in RTSes are win or fail ;-) I can't believe I hadn't knew the idea when playing Warcraft 2 and successfully finished campaigns ;-) This game is THE normal, classical, enjoyable RTS. It's such a rare thing these days. And the nice smooth introduction via the well prepared campaign mode. Movies in between, dedication to the title, simple human care instead of a game manufactory. This is not the perfect title, but the solid one. And solid ones on a release and forward I appreciate.

How to rotate buildings/blueprints ?

(If theirs a way to turn this function off I do not know it. Please inform if does.) Wish they would fix F1-F4 hot keys. It's awesome they are preset. "But" I dont need the view to change and go to the particular building view after I hit an F key. I want to stay looking at my army, scout & anything else. Were forced to hot key buildings anyway due to that. Also multiple TC do not stack on the F key. Itll only show 1. Thats the biggest issue I have right now. Hey tyvm for posting. Kay btw: Patrolling & follow minion options would be extremely appreciated. Very noticeable players cannot do that.

If i could ask, i understand grouping the units, but when i recruit more for example archers and want to put them to group 2, it deletes the previous archers using 2, so i have to separate the units all the time to select them all and give them the number, is there a way how to add them to the group without the previous units leaving the group ? I hope you understand me :D

You can do shift + control group to add to a control group bro

Dont think there is a button yet, but you can make the tilde key (under escape) control group 9 for eg. Them just use that as a 'recycler' control group. So lets say you want to add new units to control +1 and remove the old ones Put old ones on recycler key, add new units to control 1 then press control + tilde. It's more xomplicated than it should be but with some practice its pretty good

What i would really like to see is maybe a Campaign playthrough. Although i highly suggest doing the audio recording separately, since i don't think AEO is the kind of game where you can talk a lot while playing. And gameplay without commentary is a bit boring.
