Been playing for the last week pretty hard. There's a lot I don't like tbh such as the movement, there aren't any advanced mechanics for following other units or marking multiple points for scouts to explore. Units also seem to choose strange paths which can be frustrating. I do like the improved graphics and civs though. All things considered if you already own a previous aoe I'd advise saving your money. I will say that when mosding support becomes available there will be some awesome content made by the community which I am excited for. P.S. I will say if you already have game pass then give it a try.

Makes me remember meeting TrumpSC back in ye olde Starcraft days. Honestly your RTS skills are still quite good considering how infrequently we see you play them! Still got that macro down pat! @@oltan_s Idk about Arabic in this either, but for French, English and Chinese their voicelines change based on your age to reflect the change in the language as time progresses, so hopefully it's the same for Arabic

@@annaairahala9462 I think arabic did not change to that extent Yes we don't use a lot of the vocabulary that has been used before, but if we for reason hear it there is a good chance we will know it's meaning, it's because of the "root" system in arabic. And for the grammar, it's pretty much did not change at all (or that what I know). The arabic used in the game is the formal arabic that we use in books and news etc. However the tone and the way they are talking makes me very uncomfortable lol.

I’ve been able to keep up with what’s going on in most of your AoE videos but I got kinda lost during the first half of this one. Maybe the civilization you chose changed your play pattern Ok I finished the video, I see why you made a lot of your decisions. But you still split your army a lot

Why is he killing the animals? Does his opponent's civ have them have more food if they do the killing?

yeah i think its because the Rus get a bounty (bonus gold) for hunting animals, so as their opponent you want to deny them that free gold income, by hunting first. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

@@HitmanJulian Do all the civs speak arabic? I could've heard wrong but I thought they all spoke something unique to their civ. Like the english didn't sound like modern english, sounded like it was based off some very old english, like anglo-saxon or norman? I don't understand or speak arabic, is it the same as modern arabic in the game?

As in most of the Age of games, the devs have tried to give all the civs historically appropriate voice lines, so English villagers will say things like "Yea? What wilt thou? Ich willen!" rather than anything that you'd recognise as modern English. In Age of Empires IV, they've also made the voice lines get closer to the modern language as you age up, so in the imperial age they'll probably be speaking something pretty close to "Shakespearian" English, which you'd just about understand as a modern speaker. I don't speak Arabic either, but I'd suspect the devs have gone to the same amount of effort for Arabic voice lines. Different languages evolved in different ways around the world, so it might be the case that ancient Arabic is quite close to modern Arabic.
