Age Of Empires II Persians

Personally I hate the "Arabesque" way in which ancient Persians are portrayed in the game. The Palace of Ctesiphon never had those mosque minarets around it (it's a pre-islamic building which was destroyed by muslims). The units say "salam" for "hello" which is an Arabic word (the Persian being "dorud").

I think Microsoft didn't make real gameplay and story of Persians. The Achaemenid Empire 550-330 BC was the most important period of that area, which was ignored by the game developers. Unfortunately, movies like 300 neither reflect reality.
