Age of Empires II - Rise of Rajas | First Impressions!

A new expansion is finally here! Today I play as the Khmer (an AoE II civ wish come true) and use some overpowered elephants to crush a trash army twice the size of mine! The addition of the Malay, Burmese, and Vietnamese as well as the Khmer look like they will deliver some changes to the Age of Empires II meta game, so hopefully this coupled with the new patch make for some interesting play!

I watched some stuff and saw whats new and stuff yesterday but im watching this anyway cuz any video about something new is always valuable, even when you are aware of whats new alreadyy. :') Ya, all the new stuff just made a new meta, the sole fact of having a civ that can spam main infantry like trash and also has unlimited food source on fish traps changes a looot of things.

Yeah, I think it's very cool that the devs were clearly asking "what are things in this game that no one uses?" while creating this expansion. This will be a nice change of pace from the typical trash-siege combo that I encounter online quite a bit. I like the new elephants but I feel like they'll be nerfed in the near future, but all around, this brings some nice balance and deeper strategic play into the picture.

Thank you for the criticism, I will work on it! There was a time that I actually got pretty good at controlling my "uhs" but since I took a 2 month break I have to get back into proper commentating.

Tbh, I kinda like those "um"s and "uh"s because together with the humourous usage of expressions like "dude", "bro", "fam" & numerous funny remarks that nearly made me spit out my tea several times, they create a rather relaxed atmosphere in comparison to those super serious videos by Spirit of the Law and such (even though they are cool in their own ways, too). But yeah, I guess those "uh"s will fade away once you got back your routine. Great video & heck yeah, I played Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds as well. When it came out, I was in elementary school though - damn, that's a long time ago man... Let us know, whenever you want to play some AoEIIHD - gonna have a small semester break in a few days, so I'd love to give the new Civs a proper try!
