wasn't trying to beat as fast as possible, but rather maximize the amount of gold I can mine (if you allow trading you can just leave brown's dock alive, then trade irrigation-farmed food for gold, with your dock built as far west as possible, I estimate you can get around 50-100 thousand gold.
