Another note for newer players who are watching this video. Eq levels make more of a difference than stars most of the time, and you can get by with broken teams as long as eq levels keep up. But, don't let your first few heroes get too far ahead of others. You want to keep Tomb of Horrors at a good strength so you can beat it. So I wouldn't go past eq 7 on anyone until you get 5-10 to that level and a few others to eq 5. (demons + kobolds can go to eq 5 and then you can have a few others like lucky, magnus, bellara, tiros, etc a little higher) Then when you start to feel comfortable enough and have gotten some progress into campaign, push just enough to reach the nodes with Denaya, Cathbad, and Dreverad. Farm and unlock them to starting working on a good team. (And your energy can be focused on hero shards for events as well! Luckily if you stop at eq 5-7, it shouldn't be too hard to collect the gear needed and you aren't as punished for farming lower nodes to get your event heroes) Only buy the 50g refreshes and occasionally a VoT energy refresh if you want. This maximizes your gold/energy gain. Prefer heroic nodes with heroes / vot nodes with heroes over others to get both shards and gear parts. Then farm the non-hero shard stages to get the rest of the pieces you may need.

Very clear and informative video. However, it is misleading to say that Barbarians and High Elves will take you far. The video begins with showing the campaign, but the teams displayed cannot be used in the campaigns since they contain a mix of light and dark heroes. It should be clarified that you can go far in raids, arena, tomb of horrors and tournament. I would also have mentioned that any gold earned should be used to buy campaign energy and nothing else.

Hey man! Thanks! My intention was to guide new players to some teams they can easily build. Until Act 5 campaigns can be done mostly with the help of friends and whatever team you assemble, there's not much of a challenge. But after that, and for other stuff like you mentioned, synergy starts to be a must, so by that time they can easily build the teams suggested. But your input was very valid. Certainly I will make a part 2.

Also remember to gear 1-2 heroes at a time to keep the market focused on gear for them

Upgrading your gear, BEFORE your hero's level, is some crazy info. Thank you.

I wouldn’t ever suggest HE to newer players because they fall off early game too, it’s better to go trinity with Taneda and Mizu than to build up the full team since even with that full team, all depends on rng, at the time your team will have Orihime, Barbs are probably already your main team or at least very close especially with the Bellara trick, it’s not really wirth it to go beyond the Tane-Mizu duo until uou hit end game or very late mid game

Today I'd recommend Children of the forest. After the release of Beorn it is probably the best investment given how easy several faction heroes can be farmed.
@dellacrux48182 жыл бұрын
Hey man! Very valid point. But I included HE because new players now start with a Orihime calendar, and D-Act 4 is not really that hard to beat. Hotei also easily farmable with ToH, leaving only Kabuto as a bottleneck for new players. But I agree they fall off shortly. Still, I have seem some mixed teams with them really strong midgame, so it's not a complete loss, I guess.

@@Powermass CotF have only 3 farmable heroes for new players. We can't even count Stealthy because it would take a very long time even for more advanced players. Unless they're luck enough with the first summons.
@Powermass2 жыл бұрын
@@dellacrux4818 I regard Stealthy as farmable since she is in the market. But yes it will take time, probably one year in wheel 3. Still easier compaired to doing the traditional journey towards Artus and Naja. I'd skip the Abyss slaves entirely today since they require 15 otherwise useless heroes. The same thing goes for Argen (not meta) and even Tsuna since farming a Beastmen team has become more difficult after Playkot axed the event raid that earned shards for Wukong. Down the road my unconventional suggestion will make things complicated now that the final acts and hardest raids require all sorts of factions. Buy you will get stronger quicker for the other parts of the game. I recommend that you for part two present a light side and dark side team for all but the final act of the campaigns. The teams you showed will help outside the campaign though. 👍 For example, a light side HE team could be Orihime, Hotei, Taneda, Mizuhiku and Magnus instead of Kabuto. Please stress the importance of being active during the Magnus event in a future video. As a former moderator for AoM Facebook I lost count of how many players cried over not being more active during that event. Keep up the good work 👍

Uh.. where exactly is considered “early game” “mid-game” and “lategame”? Also, for heroes that you don’t care about, max g1 but without upgrading so they do not interfere with markets’ rng, since if a heroes is max geared but not upgraded the market does not give his equipment, when you really want certain gear pieces they will only give those to you because, well, no other hero need anything else

I don't think there's a set rule. Each person has their own definition. But I believe it's common sense to be considered something like this: Early - when you're unlocking normal campaign and building your first team. Late/Endgame - when you start act 7 heroic and legendary campaign. And midgame is everything in between.
