QUICK TIP (About Topic 3): If you happen to have multiple heroes with EQ8+, you can fix it by filling all the slots and DO NOT upgrade it to the next level. It might take some time, but eventually you'll have back control to choose which heroes to upgrade next.

What about a fix for those who were stalled for over a year on the then max Level 80 G10 on most of our heroes?

Best course of action is to first fill all equipment slots for lvl 80 heroes with g10 then you choose which heroes to upgrade to g11, one or two at a time. It can take some time, but IMO this is the best way to fix it. Just remember that every time you fill all the slots you don't hit "upgrade". Fortunately, before g12 there are many units that share the same equipment parts.

Hi.. so I saw there were two types of heroes.. few with Blue crystal and few with red crystal. I just received a red crystal hero( goblin guy) but I am unable to use him in fights .. any reason ?

There are light and dark campaign and you can't mix characters - blue heroes for light campaign and red for dark

There's still time to fix it, don't worry. Just stop upgrading level and equipment on secondary heroes. Focus on a main team, then a second one. Only work on secondary heroes if you need them for events or challenges, but once you reach equipment lvl 7, upgrade only one or two at a time.
