Great video! Would love to see more of these. It would be harder to coordinate but it would be cool to hear both players in a 1v1 discussing their strategy, and also turning on fog of war from time to time to get a sense of map vision.

I tried to play the game. But when I got it, I couldn't play. It crashed every time. 1st game I've ever bought where I flat out couldn't play the game. No fixes worked. I still can't believe the programmers made a game where so many people couldn't play it.

IMO I think it should be more of a interview when you do these kinds of things cause it feels like he is just saying "yes" to most stuff and we don't really know why he is saying "yes" to what you are saying lol. I think you should just ask questions and never answer it as that would feel better cuz right now he feels more like a yes man prob cause he doesn't have lot of experience casting like most pro players XD.

This turmae spam seems weak vs norse. Not sure why go for that many.. i can see the use of going 5 maybe 10 just for map control and harass/sniping potential with the caladria. But you're investing heavily into a unit with no combat value basically as Norse doesn't need TA until fanatics come out. Less turmae and then katapeltes with the weightless mace seems way better, they can snipe cav too. The few turmae you have then you could heroize to give them some combat use (even though turmae heroes do shitty dps to myth compared to murmillo/katapeltes heroes). Choice not to push was weird though. Atlanteans was ahead in eco and way behind in army. Stabilizing IS the only way they can get back in that game because they will catch up in army again. Of course you can cut army and boom and win that way as well but then the opponent actually has an out by playing greedy too. The temporary advantage had to be pressed i think, too scared of chaos. Raiding cavalry with heal fountain

Nah I agree with the grabbing tc play. If you rush in and he chaos's your army, you will struggle to replace it, he did lose some hunters afterall. At least with 3 tcs, he can make endless units and afford to lose a sizable army to chaos. He never even needed FW as a result of this.

So you go 3 tc's and atlantean also does it. You are actually behind then as you killed ~20 units but you are behind ~10 vils. So the onus is on you to do damage or catch up in eco before he catches up again. In general in RTS if they killed your eco but lost army the answer is to hit back. The longer you wait the worse it gets. Of course there are exceptions for example if you can take full map control and just choke them out to get a safer win but i don't think that was the case here especially as ouranos can just do cheeky gathering all over the map.

@@markvanderwerf8592 But he took the 2 middle tc's, so Atty can only get 2 tcs unless he can do a massive push, which with a turma based army isn't going to happen. Norse can gather all over the map equally well, if not better. The gold rates are also better so with map control/safe gold you can just market to mythic as well.

Atlanteans could get a village center as well. But besides that Atlantean was so far in vil count a 3rd tc doesn't even pay off before hitting villager cap. If there is prolonged classical fights with few villager losses for one party I don't think they benefit from 3rd tc. TC's are expensive and provide marginal safety (can't build next to gold unlike aoe2). Better boom option if you're at 50+ vils already is just one extra tc and focus more on the eco upgrades. But the point remains, if you killed their army but lost economy you have to attack. If you boom and they boom as well you lose your advantage. If you boom and they build up military you'll just get back to the situation where eco are similar and military are similar. Of course you can get screwed by a good Chaos but that can happen just the same if you boom and they focus military and go on the aggression. Note that is exactly what happens. After killing the turmae ATL is up 10 villagers but behind 40 military pop. Norse drops 2 TCs, ATL pumps military. By the time they hit heroic they are even in eco and military pop and ATL attacks into third TC. Basically instead of getting aggressive with a big military advantage it went down to a pretty equal fight. The only reason to boom instead of attack there is if defending is somehow much easier than attacking, for example if opponent and/or you have lots of static defense. But that wasn't the case here. By playing passive the lead only diminished but was still big enough to comfortably win. Still a tactical error, maybe think too much 'when ahead get more ahead' but that doesn't apply if you're behind in eco.
