It's got such a warm sound, a real shame that the ondioline is still so obscure, I love it.

The ondioline is on dozens of Motown records (like on the Supremes' "I want a Guy" for instance). Modern performers like Gotye use it frequently, he even has a group called the Ondioline Orchestra (search for it on youtube).

Holy sweet cheezus! Just discovered this instrument going down another KZbin rabbit hole. Why has nobody reproduced this? It is beyond cool!

A big component of fhe touch sensitivity system of the originals was made from chrysolite, AKA blue asbestos. Thats the kind that gives you super-mesothelioma.

I'm sure, by now, a usable substitute is readily available. This amazing instrument should be reproduced! Needs to be!

MIND BLOWN! Absolutely incredible tones from a valve circuit and your skills squeeze every drop from it.

Why has not been this instrument re-issued, at least as a boutique version? I'd buy one.

That ostinato always feels like it is going to resolve into something or have a second part.. Super catchy.

I think this instrument was seen by vangelis while playing the dragon. Interesting keyboard and very good composition.

if only the creators of this instrument could hear your performance in this day and age......

It's amazing how cool is this! I don't play keys and i want it! I wonder why decades later the trend in keyboards was to emulate real instruments with all those cheesy 80's sounds.
