Unless the caster has a "cannot be unbound" rule, the casting roll doesnt matter to a Knight-Incantor ... Well. Once a battle anyway. ;) Sad that the Knight-Incantor got cut from the range going into AoS 4

Not using fellspears on Varanguard is crazy to me it often just feels like automatic damage. They’re usually on 2’s/2’s -3 so more often than not whatever they’re hitting just doesn’t get a save. Even if they’re not charging the extra reach is usually nice as well.

Michael bought those at Las Vegas Open, but there are a ton of options on etsy. Also, go check out Graymattergaming.org He has some amazing spell and effect markers that are really fun to use :)

I saw you shot with the witch hunter pistols. Did you do his campanion's cain gun or was it like out of range? In turn 2. Great game. I was surprised how resilient your list was. Really handled the Varaguard, Chosen, and Chariots.

ill be totally honest i just forgot about the cane gun. I was surprised as well. I think taking the charge while in cover really helped me defensively

23:27 Oh dear StD, you cant recieve 2 cmds in the same phase. Run N charge command is at start of charge and forward to victory is also in the charge phase. Sorry for pointing out

Hi guys. Turn 2 if you use the CP to make the chosen run & charge you can t make them reroll the charge as they already received a command this phase. That s the all catch of playong slaanesh marks

Asking expert players for opinions: wasn't StD in a good position to hand over turn 2 and go for a double later?

Matt was in a tough position to hand off the turn, mostly because the Stormcast list had enough ranged MW output to kill his general and other casters. He made a risky decision to go first, and failed a 7 inch charge to secure his battle tactic. Personally, (Dave here) I would have deployed more defensively and planned my counter strategy around the fact that my wizards were likely going to die in turn 2. Using the chariots offensively took 2 tools away turn 1. Had he rolled the chosen first, then kept the chariots back when he knew they had failed their charge, he would have been in a much better position to hand off the turn in round 2. Matt also could have done a very easy BT turn 1 by casting chaotic conduit (to allow roll on gods table), then invaders, then surround (or charge 3 units) then led into the maelstrom or bait and trap etc. So would have scored alongside Michael until t4 at the earliest. Those cheap chaff units are what really play the game afterall. Hope that is a good answer for you :) Thanks for watching our channel!
